My only source for j-pop is you-tube so far. What radio stations would you recommend? Are there any subscription services that offer j-pop?

The only one I know of and love to listen to is Japan-A-Radio. You don't need to be subscribed to listen in. I think every Saturday night they have live requests, where you request songs in IRC or by email, that's always fun to participate in. It's mostly J-Pop, but they also have anime blocks within their schedule.

iTunes...
They play some anime tunes, and 90% of the time I don't even know the tunes they're playing... It's a good way to get introduced to artists.
