LOL AT THE RAIDERS idiots

Agreed, they already have a proven running back in Justin Fargas(rushed for more than 1000 last season), and a good back up, and they go out and get a want instead of a need. I feel like Darren McFadden will flop like Reggie Bush did anyways.

Mario Manningham in the 3rd round :P (but I'm a really big biased Giants fan)

that said Chris Johnson could really turn out to be something, also Glenn Dorsey was a steal where the Chiefs got him (5 if I remember correctly)

1 running back isn't enough anymore, they did need another RB...it didn't need to be McFadden though, they could have picked up like Mike Hart in the 4-5 round instead of Indy and actually improved their team where there were weakness's....

but everyone knows the Raiders Draft board is directly related to the Combines 40 times they really don't care about anything else.

They had Dominic Rhodes, but they cut him after they got McFadden, also they have Lamont Jordan, but it's doubtful he'll play.

McFadden is an improvement over Rhodes thats for sure, that said I agree, they didn't need to use the first or even second round to get a RB they could have waited longer (if they weren't happy with Rhodes which apparantly they weren't)

regardless... the draft is the least of the Raiders problems... paying Tommy Kelly (is that the DT?) ridiclous money and then paying Deangelo Hall ridiclous money (and Fran. Tagging Nandi) are possibly some of the worst Free Agent moves I've ever seen... also I'm a Giants Fan...G. Wilson is not worth what those guys are paying him :P

Seriously OP, stop spamming threads. It's getting incredibly annoying and it takes ****ing ever to read what you're trying to say. If you're going to post, make it worthwhile.

I thought The Steelers did well, nabbing Mendenhall and Sweed. I'm not sold on Sweed, but he was a value where they grabbed him.
As a Bills fan, I loved the Buffalo draft. Filled our biggest needs with solid values and grabbed Bobby April the ST players he needed.
KC had a beastly draft, but with the picks they had, they kind of were expected to.

What about the fact that the steelers already had a decent #2 in Najeh Davenport and also picked up Mewelde Moore in FA this off-season don't get me wrong personally I liked Mendenhall over McFadden, unpopular opinion, I know, but I'm High on Mendenhall...but it just didn't seem like Pit needed another RB to me... I guess it was Best player available syndrome.

I didn't see to much about the Bills Draft... but you got Mitchell from us in the Off-Season... he'll do a decent job for you and I "Think" you guys got James Hardy the freak of nature WR right? that should help you out alot... Lee Evans is just too short to be a End Zone Threat once inside the 20... Hardy will be great for you guys there... I'm not sure who else you picked up.

I agree KC had a beastly Draft... definatly the best draft imho...that said they lose Jared Allen which is by NO MEANS a small loss.

^ Mendenhall at 23(I think) was a steal. Maybe not a need, but a great player.
Bills got Hardy and McKelvin, so we're happy. Our later picks were all somewhat reaches (except Johnson, he was a steal), but they mostly play ST, and we lost our best ST guys in the offseason.

Rhodes requested that he be cut if the Raiders used their first rounder for Mcfadden. They did, and he was. Chris Long was off the board and Dorsey made no sense considering the amount of money that went to Kelly at that same position (I agree he is overpaid though), so Mcfadden was the next best option. Lamont Jordan is just a cut waiting to happen, so they would only have three backs either way you looked at it. Fargas and Mcfadden will make a great one-two punch, with Bush as the 3rd down/goal-line back.

paying Tommy Kelly (is that the DT?) ridiclous money

Agreed.

G. Wilson is not worth what those guys are paying him :P

Apparently you've never seen Stewart Swaggart play. Wilson is a godsend compared to what they previously had at that position.

I'm not a huge raiders fan, so I'm not sure what they do need ( hows the O-Line? need a tackle maybe?) but I have to believe other teams were interested in the pick for Doresy or McFadden... I would have tried to trade down maybe pick up a Tackle later in round 1 then a RB like Forte(sp) in the second round instead of McFadden First round... I just don't think McFadden is "That" much better then the other RB's that came out this year... yeah he's better but not by enough (in my opinion)

and about the Wilson thing... yeah Wilson may be a heck of alot better then your Previous saftey (I wouldn't know how bad your previous saftey was) but that said I've watched Gibril for a long time as a life long Giants fan... he's not worth the Fatty contract you guys served him up... but still its nowhere near as bad as Tommy Kelly :P

what did Kelly get again? 50 mil or something?

The Raiders used their fourth rounder this year to pick up a tackle last year (Mario Henderson), they also grabbed Kwame Harris in Free Agency and a center from UDFA. So they already had enough O-Line additions this year. Not saying they couldn't use more help, just that they haven't ignored their O-line needs.

and about the Wilson thing... yeah Wilson may be a heck of alot better then your Previous saftey (I wouldn't know how bad your previous saftey was) but that said I've watched Gibril for a long time as a life long Giants fan... he's not worth the Fatty contract you guys served him up...

Just getting rid of Stu makes the addition of Wilson worth it. They may have reached financially, but at least it was for a great need. Over paying for Javon Walker and Tommy Kelly were far worse.

Unfortunately yes.
