What are some of the fascinating tidbits of knowledge or feats you have seen on YouTube? Here's a few I found interesting:
A theory on how Stonehenge was built (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRRDzFROMx0)
The different ways some countries count their money. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcdHDJasOD8)
Some basic lie detection. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tW8KYtvAsrw)
EDIT: Just to clarify, the intent of this thread is to post information, useful or not so long as it is interesting and serves to enlighten and/or instruct the viewer as to a particular aspect of the human experience.

Yeah, those videos are interesting. I saw that money counting video a couple days ago and it blew my mind. Kind of like when I realized that people in other countries don't have the luxury of bagged milk. Wow man... just, wow.

New Math (http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=GAm3KWiDPKU&feature=related) The short explanation.
Long story short, I was asked to help with my cousin's math homework. His father didn't understand it. I didn't understand it. After watching these, I still don't understand, but I don't feel bad about it anymore.

This was Impressive, and after reading the commentary, most still seem to think Giants made it lol.

Also very impressive, how they were able to calculate the size ratio and model it on a computer. This makes life feel so irrelevant and at the same time amazing. It also makes me wonder if size depends on life as well, in other words nothing the size of Earth can be living. Life needs to be small to be living.
I always thought earth was smaller then they had compared with Jupiter.

Yeah, and I read somewhere that it takes about 210 days to walk the entire circumference of the earth if you walked nonstop everyday but it'll take you 168,000 years to walk around VV Cephei--the biggest star...

In Canada, it is not uncommon for a consumer to purchase milk in a bag. It produces less plastic garbage.

Alright, I'm going to reiterate the purpose of this thread :
What are some of the fascinating tidbits of knowledge or feats you have seen on YouTube?
By this I mean actual, useful (or not) information, so long as it is interesting and pertains to enlighten and instruct on a particular subject. Not a random song you found interesting or the latest YouTube fad, unless it is relevant to the topic.
So, yes to Rubick's Cube solving tutorials, but no to the above Numa Numa song, please.

Oh, I don't mind what I consider off-topic comments and videos. I just don't want them to eclipse the original intent of this thread, since they appear to be about equal in amount to the relevant stuff by now.
The fun of this thread is the interest it can generate in multiple topics, not inane commentaries on a song that serves no purpose.
So there's really no problem with enlightening the masses about bagged milk. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DxCT2Ljh_A) :P

^ Nope, not at all.
Orgonomy was a pseudoscience dreamed up by a Froot Loop named Wilhelm Reich back in the late 30s. He was later tossed in the clink for quack medicine and fraud.
