I don't get it...:crybaby:

They took Carl Orff's Cantata, Carmina Burana, and added what they thought would be humorous subtitles. This work is sung in Latin and they figured it would be funny to make up English lyrics that sounded similar.

I don't think it's very funny. It's not clever at all. Not at all.

Example:

The original is - O Fortuna

They say - Oh, four tuna

Not humorous, just plain stupid.

That was just awful. Absolutely horrible.

If it'd been funny then it would still have been pointless.

The beef I have with YTMND is that there's no regulation whatsoever. They say no racism/sexual material, yet we get stuff like "N**ga Stole My Bike!", and at the same time, you get stupid comments like wanting to bomb Japan again and all kinds of trolling and other stupid stuff. It's just /b/ for underage b&s.

Here (http://www.tylatin.org/extras/cb1.html) are the real lyrics and a translation.

I'm assuming that it only contained O Fortuna... since I couldn't watch the whole thing.

This (http://starscreamkick.ytmnd.com/) is the best thing to ever come out of YTMND. Everything else sucks. (sfw)

The beef I have with YTMND is that it's just not a funny concept. The first YTMND link you see might be enough to inspire a very brief and mild chuckle, if it's an exceptionally well-done audio/visual juxtaposition. Viewing a second such link won't likely ilicit any response at all, since you already know the joke.

Of course, most of the links are not exceptionally well done on YTMND. Most of them display all the creative expression of "Take Random Image A and play Random Sound B for LULZ!!!1!" It's sort of like ... many steps down from the extremely low quality of most AMV's, for those who can't even be bothered to make one of those.

The creators of YTMND, at some point, must've said, "You know, what this world really needs is a place for eight year olds to tell jokes with PowerPoint." They should have their internet licenses revoked for that.
