Before I am to welcome you to AN in a friendly manner, I must request that you get rid of that abomination you call an avatar and never use anything related to it ever again. You must also delete any and all files and bookmarks related to your so-called avatar from your hard drive, and all merchandise you own of any kind that also relates to the aforementioned avatar is to be taken to your local dump immediately. Failure to do so in any given time will result in an unsatisfactory infraction on your account, followed by a live burial.
Good luck.

Hello, welcome to AN. I don't see anything wrong with your avatar, keep it. I will give a few words of advice though. Keep your arms inside the ride at all times, always use protection and never, I repeat, never feed the Prons after midnight
Have fun. I guess.

Nice to have you. No flaming, trolling, streams of poll threads, being a weeaboo, l33t speaking, rabid fanboy/fangirl-ism, constant ranting, arguing with everyone, or constant acts of pure stupidity.
Respect the mods, and if you follow these suggestions, you might become a long term member of AN.
Oh, and never, and I mean NEVER argue with Leader Desslock.

Konichwa. We accept all fanboys/fangirls. *bows*
All joking aside, welcome to AN. And pretty much everything that Kenpachi said.

I'm seeing way too many extended Universe references in AN lately...

Is this what's going to happen to Animenation now? A Holocaust on Narutards? Anyone who even thinks of coming in with naruto content will be burned to the stake at the first intro thread and will be forced to run away...
Oh that's a GREAT way to share business with any new members. Thanks Tim.

Welcome to Animenation if you ever find the courage to come back please ignore the knuckle heads who herd their arch enemies to the side like cows later to be slaughtered. Other wise enjoy your stay and have fun :)

Hello, Welcome to AN. Even though some members might try to anally rape you for liking Naruto, I will not. Anime is anime, so have a fun time here.

Hmmm *ponders the question for why new members come and then go*... I don't feel like ranting but some of you guys need to cool it down a bit. I think you guys scared him off whether that was intended or not I think that's a bit unfair, to judge someone on pure interest alone. As I've said before there are people in here who will pounce on anything they feel isn't to their liking. *For example the first response to this thread.*
But whatever, what do I know I'm just the guy who posts ridiculous content to serious threads. How should I even care about the new people... I'll just let you guys keep doing what you're doing and let the mods handle the messy stuff.

Allow me to reiterate the rules of AN, in case you haven't perused the FAQ:
- You don't tug on Superman's cape.
- You don't spit into the wind
- You don't pull the mask off the ol' Lone Ranger
- You don't mess around with Jim.
Failure to comply with the rules can result in you being pulled from the floor, looking like a jigsaw puzzle with a couple of pieces gone. If you have any questions, just dial the operator, who, being so much more than kind, will help you place a call to the AN forum help line.

But... we have to test him. He can only stay if he passes "the test." ^_^
Don't runaway Cade!
I hope you guys didn't scare him off.

-_- A test on what? endurance from the critique committee? Oh please this isn't a court room, this is an internet forum supported by an anime book/dvd store in Florida. In which the discussions of people's favorite anime/manga can be as much a right as walking into the store and asking for anything Naruto related.
I'm not a business man, but I do operate the cash registers at a store as well as having some incentive to keep customers from running away which is in my job description. In this thread I see a good opportunity, not just for the company but for the forum as well, but from the very beginning it's lost and forgotten becuase of one person's grudge against an anime series.

To be fair, I have not even mentioned Naruto in my post. For all OP and Muralist's Canada knows, I could have meant something completely different regarding OP's avatar rather than simply being from Naruto.
And then I look at the actual post, and instantly made my decision that he was either just acting like the stereotypical 12-year-old Narutard, didn't really care for this board to begin with, or a combination of both. Either way, it wasn't a good first impression. The Force may be strong with young Skywalker, but he is not a Jedi yet.
And as for this tactic of mine being "bad for business" as you say, I could really go on forever about the common habits on this forum that are hurting AN even worse than what I just did (i.e. fansubs, scantily-clad pictures, controversy in news threads, etc.), but I'd rather not for the sake of preserving the thread. But really, everything is bad for business one way or another, as long as there are people who hate everything everyone likes. So stop complaining.

Honestly, if you take what a forum says to you seriously, then I don't know what to say....
That being said, I've seen newcomers welcomed much, much worse...
So Cade, welcome to AN. And don't take any jokes/insults/whatever too seriously.

I was making a joke about how newcomers are sometimes exposed to jovial harassment. Like a hazing almost. I was satirically comparing AN to a cult that tests it's new members. It might not be very nice but it's better than other famous ordeals like Crossing the Desert, The Unblinking Eye, The Wreck of the Hesperus and The Paddling of the Swollen *** With Paddles.
