anyways i am goin to the animania convention in april and i was wondering if anyone could tell me of some anime chars i could cosplay as

...cosplay can include videogames and anime. sometimes, even music - especially those who are fans of visual kei.

well i like to much anime to say. so if you tell me some that i would really look like then chances are i would no what char your talking about.

ohh about the games thing ...i dont mind cosplaying as video game chars

hmm.. well i love fantasy lol and yes finaly fantasy is one of the games i love lol hm.. i like ninjas and demons and stuff so things like devil may cry and stuff

and i dont think my hair would grow long enough for tidus before april

I say go as Leorio from Hunter X Hunter. You do seem to have the hair and the frame to pull it off, plus we could use more convention publicity for this series.

OK if you want a serious answer, go as Junpei from Persona 3 and if you haven't played the game yet, go and Get Persona 3 FES when it comes out

Those new to the art of cosplay (and apparently life) should follow these handy dandy rules to most certain success:

1.) Try to portray (hint: 'portray' means 'dress up like' for all you lame-headed members) a character with your level of intelligence. In this particular case, I'd recommend........Shin Chan. Or Naruto.

Believe it! (Dies on the inside. I hope you are happy :mad: )

2.) Make sure to wear a helmet. Seriously, you should invest in one today!

Even if your character doesn't wear one himself -- you can pass off your new [much needed for everyday wear] fad as 'required for a particular stunt', and then proceed to have a conniption on the floor. For authenticity, throw in some foam at the mouth and vomit. I guarantee that who ever doesn't walk away disgusted, kick you, or die from laughing...will be impressed.

Sure, that leaves only like...one person, and yeah, they probably won't speak English, bathe, or look human......but Yeah! YEAH! You’d be terribly cool :thumbsup:

Helmets are all the rage, kid! :lol:

3.) When all else fails, be yourself. Only in tinfoil.

I'm sure it won't look any worse than just being yourself, and at least then people will have a visual representation of your intelligence to laugh at -- er...admire.

4.) Makeup is only to be applied in thin layers, however tempting.

And I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say *chokes on laugh* post pictures!!
