It has to do with the target audience. What sells most to man that cannot exercise feelings of domination and power in reality? I'm fascinated by these things as well, but I like to take a more academic approach. This is partially why Newscaster Etsuko ends up being my favorite ero anime.

First thing, You don't know me. How can you even think you are able to even make a comment like that?

Second, You would have a completely different opinion about the subject if you ever had a friend raped. I unfortunately had that experience a few years ago, and a close friend has to deal with it every day because what happened to her.

While I rarely watch hentai... that's the most horrible thing about rape scenes.

Yes I agree, resistance to rape is a joke sometimes, but there have been scenes on the opposite end that have been far too harsh for my eyes and ears.
