What are you cosplaying as this year?

I always wonder what people choose to cosplay as every year and how they make thier costumes. So for the year 2008, what's everybody going as and to what convention(s)?
I'm going to Otakon as I have the past 2 years with my friends. My first year I went as Roxas from KH2 and last year I went as Gippal from FFX-2. I was thinking about cosplaying as Altair from Assassin's Creed, but I'm not sure about it. I want to make a good looking male cosplay, but I want it to be somewhat easy,but not too common. Any ideas?

I'm going to Anime Central 2008 as:

Adult Lambo (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!)
Simon (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann)

I'm 70% finished with Lambo, and 35% finished with Simon (pre-timeskip). :)

I think I'm going to work on... Meg from Burst Angel. Since I have the hair, I thought I might as well do it. [: I'm also looking for other characters that I can do... but that's what I have on my list so far. [:

I think I've made my final decision for Otakon this year! I think I'm gonna go as Pit from Kid Icarus, trading in his short shorts for some longer ones! I've never cosplayed as something with wings, so I finally get to have some!!!!! YAY!
