after watching the ever awaited sixth episode of Shin Bible Black 6: Reproduction, i feel that the ending is quite hanging over the cliff. after the ending, it seems that Aki Ichikawa, the purple haired girl became interested in the act of witchraft. so i was thinking, maybe there's a sequel. hmmm.

what do you guys think? write your thoughts and what do you think will happen if it does have a sequel.

I think that Milky Anime still want to make money out of the Bible Black franchise, after all is their most successful series. But I think that a secuel is going to depend on the sales of episode 6.

Sure, there is the chance that Aki is used as a medium by Jody Crowley, learn what happened to Minase, I would also like to see detective Yamanashi continue his relationship with Kitami. A new Gaiden series would be nice if they include Shiraki either as a student or as a teacher.

i agree. the fact that Milky never finish some of their hentai episodes and considering that only Bible Black has reached 17 episodes (6 eps. of La Noche de Walpurgis, 2 Gaiden eps., 6 eps. of La Lanza de Longinus, 3 Only eps.), this single hentai should bring them a fortune. but considering the existence of file sharing and stuff like that, that's the only flaw in their business.

well, i do want to see what will happen next to the main characters. and also the fact that this hentai is my all time favorite. i couldn't ask for more as long as there's more of this. hehehehehe

yeah, the Imari Arc is a special episode but it's still in the stand alone episodes so i just included it in the Only eps.

Seriously, this new series didn't have much new to offer for me. I found myself quite bored quite often. The sex scenes are starting to get repetitive, and there are too many characters, too many relationships, and too many situations going on at once for me to keep track of.

The original Bible Black was so successful because it had excellent animation, a plot which was easy to follow, and a variety of hardcore sex scenes with detail. That gives it a lot of appeal. I had stated in a prior thread that this series would turn into another Nightshift Nurses. Looks like I'm almost right. After watching Reproduction, I automatically thought franchise.

Apparently it has been as popular as the first, judging by commentary on Japanese boards, but they also want to know of Minase's whereabouts, so we aren't alone in that sentiment.

Since the episode where Imari/Kitami attacked Takashiro and accuse her of stealing Minase, I had the really weird idea that they might had married, or even had a child, and he may had taken the child away with him after learning that Kitami could be still around.

You may have something there, especially since Takashiro did start to have romantic feelings for Minase in the middle of the first series that were amplified after he "helped" her twice.

Bible Black Only (http://www.animenation.com/kvdvd-0703.html) is the only one of what you are missing which is available in Region 1. For the rest, we can't really discuss their acquisition here, as asking for downloads and discussion of retailers other than AnimeNation is forbidden by the rules.

If I remember correctly, Mr. Oshima raped Aki. The whole scene with the nurse at the hospital - I'd say it was consensual at first, but when he started to get rough (throwing her on the ground, then moving to the anal sex), that's when I'd call it 'rape' (since she crying for him to stop).

Before the hospital scene, Aki was raped, then had the spear tip shoved inside her. This traumatic experience had to leave her in extreme pain and in a weakened state. Thus, I believe, she was just too weak (and in too much pain) to put up a fight. (at least, that is why, I think, it seems like she let him do her)

Most likely, Aki did NOT like it. It is possible that once he started, she was under some sort spell, because his forehead had those Japanese symbols on it.

With Takashiro, that was a rape. Takashiro and (the possessed) Imari can perform magic. Thus, Imari beat Takashiro with her magic and kept her under a spell during the rape. (Again, this is what I believe, it may not be 100% correct).

This might sound strange, but I really don't like the bible black anime, but I think the visual novel games are really good. Well, game, I've only played the first one, but I'll be getting the second once it comes out in the U.S.

I'm thinking of picking up the series 2 DVDs every other month. All the DVDs have a running time of 60 minutes which for $20 bucks isn't bad. I know there are 4 original, 1 side story and 3 new. But I'm not imo D-girls all that much.

If you don't mind subbed only, you can skip the first volume of BB: New Testament and just get the second, which has episodes 3 and 4 subbed and dubbed, and 1 and 2 subbed-only as extras. (Volume 1 contained episodes 1 and 2 English-dubbed only, with no Japanese soundtrack. Fan revolt ensued, and Media Blasters/Kitty Media convinced Milky to let Kitty release the Japanese language version.)
