Many of you know him as the creator of Invader Zim. Though he's also famous for manking the Comic Books Johnny the Homocidal Maniac, The Great Big Book of Squee, and many more.

He's amazing, I quite love JTHM, SQUEE, and ZIM. They all have their own ideas and plot and all that, but share the same stupid humor. I find it amazing how he writes.

Didn't he do Lenore the Dead Girl?

No, his "partner in crime" for Invader Zim; Roman Dirge did. Roman has a similar style of comic, though Roman's works seem to be a bit more "cute in a morbid way".
JTHM is what got me into comics back in high school. After that I started reading all of Jhonen's other works (Bad Art Collection, Squee, Filler Bunny, I Feel Sick, and Everything Can Be Beaten). While JTHM & Squee were great, I gotta say "I Feel Sick" is a must read as it touches a bit on the origins of Johnny & the doughboys.
I've been a bit out of it as far as comics go; but apparently Jhonen has two new books out; Jellyfist & The 13th Of Never. I just ordered both on Amazon, so i should have them by Wednesday.

He's pretty cool. It sucks they took him off the air for being to mature while crap like Zoey 101 is still on the air.

I loved JTHM's ending. It was really awesome that he choose to show that randomly killing people was immature.

Okay. Now I know who you mean.
I like his style though. He did Invader Zim right?

Invader Zim was hit and miss, but some episodes were just golden. I got a kick out of Zim's dialog and his histrionic tendencies.
"The horrible, puny-brained meat child!"

Jhonen Vasquez is a great man.
Although I Feel Sick and Squee made me a little disapointed I'm still looking forward to reading Jellyfist and Everything Can Be Beaten.

Invader Zim was quite hit or miss, I really only liked the show because of Gir. XD; And I also like Filler Bunny.
But after seeing and slightly meeting him at a convention, Jhonen Vasquez is kind of a jerk, and very much full of himself. lol

I used to think he was a comic genius. Then, I entered High School, and realized that his comedy is about as repetitive and predictable as a Linkin Park song. It seems that the best way to impersonate a typical Vasquez fan would to put both fists in front of your mouth, trot/hop over to a friend, and go, "OMG sqee random poke of DOOM!"

Funniest thing is, he hates the fans that act like that.

Vasquez is a very creative artist. He pretty much jumped in the water without any thought or care to what others may have thought.
He's a genius I really admire his work.
