So I plan on doing a Ritsuka (Loveless) Cosplay for a basic internet shot.
I have a full black outfit, black ears and a long black tail. Even a black wig. Though I have a problem.
Other female cosplayers out there, What do you do about your chest?????
I've had enough bad experiances with duct tape that I'd rather not relive, and I can't have a seme have boobs! Then its just a regular romance...
SO what do you do.

Well, while it is definitely not cosplay, I like to don kimono on occasion and find myself needing to....suppress my generous bust as a result. I was WAY too afraid to try duct tape (although I do have a few rolls lying around here somewhere), so I bought two (count them: two) long ace bandages (the cloth kind that wraps around your knee or arm, etc.) and use those to hold down the bulge instead. They don't minimize me completely, but I feel a lot more comfortable wearing clothing that is meant to drape over smaller bust sizes ^_^.

AND, no tape means no horrible pain, pulling, tearing, and/or trauma to the girls ^_^. They also are breathable, so it is a breeze to wear them. Literally. Just don't wrap them too tightly!! >_<!

I suggest crossplay.com for further tips as well...if you're not already a member there. =P But yea, Shiroyuki hit on what's important. *cough*

I'd suggest a compression shirt if you do not want to use Ace bandages. I'll be buying one myself in the near future.

Damn, I'd never think of Ace Bandages.

...never try ducttape. I made my mistake with Gorilla Glue.....>x<

...pics or you lie.

as for "decreasing" the size of the bust, one can always don a sports bra first, THEN use any other means to clamp those suckers down - duct tape included.

only works for cups C down: good luck trying to flatten a D.

As much as tape hurts, I do see them using that to bind with a lot....but it could ruin your chest. There are binding shirts you could find online too.

Being a male, I wouldn't know. What I recommend doing is checking out here:

The way I see it, Ace bandages would be uncomfortable. With a compression shirt you won't constrict your breathing room or bind too tightly. Instead of continually buying Ace, just drop $30 on a shirt and your pretty much set.

Well, while it is definitely not cosplay,
[Does it really matter, I may cosplay other men in the future!]

Anyway, I tried the ace bandage Idea, and whoever came up with that, ARIGATO! I found it worked to compress what little bust I have. and it doesnt hurt!!!

that is my L from Death Note cosplay. I am a girl, and I have a pretty large chest. So my way of doing it is binding or you can get a compression type shirt thing......maybe you can use sports tape. I would go with ace bandages with a sports bra under it. That is exactly what I do.
