Do you watch RahXephon dubbed or subbed?

I myself only watch it dubbed. I thought ADV did a great job & having it in 5.1 was a nice bonus.
Its many of my favorites. Chris Patton, Monica Rial, Kelli Cousins, Hilary Haag, Kira Vincent-Davis, Jay Hickman, Vic Mignogna, Illich Guardiola, etc.
Only complaint is if your sick of hearing Chris Patton as the main character again, how many mecha anime as the main character has he been in?

Aside from Asahina at the start I felt this was a great dub from ADV and up their with the best work they have done. I do slightly prefer the Japanese version but I really wouldn't mind which audio track I watched. Both = answer.

Vic Mignogna as Mamoru = Pure adolescent GAR.

Laura Chapman as Maya = Pure MILFGAR.

Illich Guardiola as Isshiki = Pure Epic Scrumptrulescent GAR.

Yeah, I'd say ADV came a long way in terms of dubs. I can't wait to see the dub cast for Gurren-Lagann.

But, as he doesn't work for ADV, that's pretty much impossible.

Most of the anime voice actors are private contractors anyway.

He doesn't live in Texas so thats why he doesn't work with ADV or FUNi. Although he did do a voice for FUNi in Fullmetal Alchemist in an episode where he played the main character of that episode. My guess is he was in town, maybe at a convention. I think it was the same for Scott McNeil(Canadian Ocean group) who voiced Al's father, he was just in town.
Sometimes VAs will work with other companies if their in town like going to a convention.
Just depends where they live, ADV & FUNi pretty much share voice actors because they are both in Houston.
