I like the scissor take down as well as the backfist-leg kick combo. Double leg takedown is nice too. Side kick comes in handy, as well as lead leg snap kick. I like the triangle but i suck at it, the anaconda with the gator roll is fun.
I do Ju-Jitsu just by the way.

Good deal.
What's your rank? I'm a 5th geup (Blue Belt) in my system. I practice Tae Kwon Do. Our system actually incorporates other arts as Judo, Ju-Jitsu, Silat, and others, but our foundation is Tae Kwon Do.
And that backfist/sidekick combo works so well for me.

Left hook. Left - left - right cross - left hook as a basic combo. As a stance, peek-a-boo, conceived by Cus D'Amato and used by Floyd Patterson and Mike Tyson. I'm 6', but come across a lot of taller opponents, and that style is prime for setting yourself up for maximum traction in shooting up to upper-cut because of how low you get in weaving. In grappling, RNC and Kimura, but when you sink a successful sub in, whatever it is is always your favorite for that moment. In Muay Thai, clinch and knee, but it depends on your respective heights to what degree you can bend him over and savage his face.

jab, jab, ->, low kick, fierce punch
But seriously, I've seen videos of that combo that Tyson used, Reidar, utilizing the left hook.
Some combos that I like or am working on at the moment are jab, cross, low kick. Another is the low kick, roundhouse to the torso, followed by a spinning back kick.

Block the opponent's punch, step in once, palm to the face, turns into Tiger Palm, step in with the other foot, sweep, smash the opponent's head into the ground using said Tiger Palm. Rail on the guy.
I made this one with Reidar in mind :
Again, block the opponent's punch, grab the arm with blocking hand, step in, dislocate the shoulder with an upper hand sweep, side kick while still holding the arm to rip it off, nut shot, grab the guy's head and bring it into my rising knee, then open palm to the heart.
I don't do simple punch-kick combos. I want the battle over as soon as it started and my weak punches won't get the job done, but if we're going to talk about a favorite kick, either a roundhouse or a side kick since those are my strongest and fastest.
For reference, I'm currently into Kung-fu (Weak-Fu, if you ask me since we do not spar or train for fights. "It's a way of life", or so they say).

I'll see that. What's your preference? I'm a .40 S&W guy.

if you knock the person down, then thats all that counts.
but i like the gun idea. here's a good way to think of things: Who brings a gun to a knife fight? The winner.

Regardless of the situation, the first thing I'll do is run. Hitting someone is never a good thing to do. The guy might be some gangster. Today you beat the crap out of him, tomorrow a dozen of them will whack you up and intimidate you for eternity.

I like the scissor take down..
Ditto on that ^-^ All the takedowns are fun.
I favor the hook kick, mainly since it's just fun, and following with a roundhouse is really easy. Wheel, but they banned it from sparring (and it makes me dizzy after one too many rotations xP) The tornado-x kicks are fun too (X being the kick combined), 'specially the roundhouse and axe ones. Backfists and hook punches are also fun, as are forearms, but I'm more of a kick person.

Dear God that thing is UGLY. THe butt stock is like an Xbox.
Give me a nice sleek, accurate revolver, or semi auto/bolt action rifle over that any day.
Plus, my rifle has a bayonet afixed to it (yugo SKS) using the bayonet is a martial art in its own right. Which is cool, since bayonets on muskets etc is what replaced the spear.

I like the reverse turning Kick or turning kick for a competition / match or failing that, a snap kick to the happy sacks.

I kinda think any kind of reverse whatever to be a big mistake unless you're lightning quick. You expose your whole back to a whooping, but then again if you actually are capable of pulling it off, it hurts like biatch.

Fundamental about fighting: never turn your back to your opponent.
One kick that I utlize in spars/fights is the spinning back kick. Thing is, I only perform it when I know I have a clear shot. And once I commit to it, I go all the way. I don't pause and leave my back open to my opponent. It also helps that I look quickly over my shoulder before I fire off my kick, but that will get you so far assuming your opponent isn't quick on his/her feet.

Even the look over the shoulder won't work unless you're absolutely sure you can pull it off. The most it'll do for you is to let you see the *** whoopin you're about to get.

Hence why I said that I won't ever perform such a technique unless I know I have a clear shot. I also said that looking over the should wasn't fool proof.

Marksmanship is a martial art. A gun is no less martial than a sword in, say, kenjutsu.

Why's that? I've been debating with people that martial arts = arts of warfare, not philosophy, for years now. Just look at the Capoeira thread.
