This thread is basically for anybody who's late starting up the series as i was and has some questions they can come to this thread and ask them and hopefully one of the One Piece veterans on this forum will be kind enough to answer it for them, i know when i first started watching it i had a ton of questions i wanted answered.
Also maybe someone who is up to date with the anime may not understand something so again just ask about it here.

Ive got a question now its just about the One Piece manga is it finished or is it still ongoing and if its still ongoing do you think its got long left?

The manga is still going and I'm pretty sure it still has a long ways to go obviously. They haven't gotten into all the stuff with Monkey D. Dragon as far as I know, Zoro hasn't had his fated battle with Mihawk, and Luffy hasn't even became the Pirate King yet. One Piece still has a long way to go.

Hey JD, that's really awesome how you managed to slip one of the biggest spoilers in the show in like that. I like it, very smooth. Even though I'm keeping up with the anime, this is clearly a thread I'm going to want to avoid. These kinds of threads are just too risky to me.

What would happen if a devil fruit user ate another devil fruit, would he have powers from both fruits or would the new fruit cancel out the old fruits powers or could it be fatal?

From what was discussed with the CP9 members during the Enies Lobby arc, it would seem that if a Devil Fruit user ate another Devil Fruit, it would be fatal. I'm pretty sure I remember a scene with them discussing that.

It was when Spandam got the other two fruits for Kaku Kalifa. One of the CP9(I forget who it was) suggested that they eat another one to get even stronger, and thats where it was mentioned that it would be fatal. Though, we dont know where they got that information....

So far Chopper's the only one to have used one, but I think the only ones who might get any effect from using it would be Zoan type users.
