Hey, so where do you guys go on vacations? I'll post some of my vacations after a few posts.

...er. its hard to get vacation time around this quarter. especially for December. plus, i already blew all my Vacation Time in Cali.

k here are my vactaions. California is fun though, I live in LA, I see tourists all the time.

My favorite vacation so far is Maui.Has anyone ever been to Maui? I go every year. I used to stay in suites at the Sheraton Maui for 10 days, but this year we stayed at a better hotel. We stayed at the Grand Wailea, probably the nicest and one of the most expensive hotels there, so we only had a deluxe ocean view regular room to try it out, but we are members there now, so next year we will either stay in 2 deluxe rooms behind gates with free snacks and breakfast and stuff with ocean view or one suite. Its the best place for teenagers and stuff, it was really fun.

This Winter break I'm probably going to go to Florida to visit family. then Spring break I will probably go back to the Grand Wailea for most of it.

Than my Godfather gave me and my parents a house in Palm Dessert(right next to Palm Springs), so we go there often on like 3 day weekends and such.

My sister also has a winter house in Utah for skiing in Dear Valley, so I go there also for a few days to ski.

This summer, my family is thinking of going to Italy and England for 2-3 weeks and than Israel for a week or so.

O and other cool vacations i've had was going to Israel and Canada. We almost got to go to Israel on a PRIVATE 747, but the plane was canceled, but the person who was doing the whole trip(my Godfather who took 100 people to Israel and stayed at the best hotel in the best suites), paid for all the people going to fly commercial 747s in first class!! Than we got to go to all the bases because my Godfather is a war hero there, and we stayed for 2 weeks, it was just amazing. If we go to Israel we will probably go to Israel with him on his new private custom jet plane.

lol. that would be a fun vacation. I actually heard that if you give government like 2 million dollars(or it may be billion) they will send you to the moon.

Well, during the summer, I typically go somewhere FAR. Like, 2 years previous to SUMMER 07, I went to Florida and then last year too. But this summer I went to CALIFORNIAAAAAAAAA.

Equal distance almost. Cept in California, lil bitches kicked sand on my cowboy hat. I was about to BBQ their *****. =/

Actually no. I was just wisecracking. I just figured it would be incredibly funny if you get to the moon, and then as the rocket is leaving you realised that price was only for the one-way ticket. :P

I see a lot of people are vacationing in california, well where? I live in LA, and I see tourbusses and stuff all the time, I live about 2-3 blocks away from the playboy mansion and the spelling mansion, no joke, I may actually be going to the playboy mansion next weekend or something.

...OP, lemme let you in on something. a lot of people on AN usually go on "vacations" during con periods, usually sometime in the summer.

i, on the other hand, go to AX and Otakon EVERY year. this is a must. ain't no vacation - it's more like duty.

I go out to California/Vegas for vacation and EVO. Traveling 3,000 miles for tournaments is the way to live.

Next year will be odd for me; it'll be my last semester in school, so I'll probably be working to take some decent vacations more than usual (and actually have the time to go!)

So far on the agenda is my annual business vacation to Las Vegas and some friends and I are planning to take up an invite from a client to visit Oz (Australia) for Christmas. My girlfriend is thinking about doing sumer school abroad in England, so I might try and take some time to check out more of Biscuitland and Sharponia.

I'm a student. My holidays are pretty much year-long. But on the point the guy was actualy making, I've not been abroad in years. I tend to just hang around my hometown, occasionally working.

i leave for croatia in December!! on a missions trip with my school though not a vacation.. even though we will be spending 2 days in vienna just to walk around and have fun.. just cuz there is no flight straight back to VA. :)

Well we normally do that in the summer.


I remember one year for Christmas I went to see my cousins in Boston. That was fun.


But normally in the summer I go to Wildwood, NJ. Only this year we didn't cause we went to Gettysburg, PA for my Social Studies Honors project.

Haven't had a vacation in a long, long time. I travel, but never for vacation purposes, call it independent learning. In the last two years I've been to Ecuador, Thailand, Bangladesh, Nepal, China and the UK. they say a tourist doesn't know where they've been, a traveler doesn't know where they're going.

Next year there's a 2 week trip to Italy for the Choirs and I THINK High School Band and Orchestra.

I am so fundraising for this. And even if I have to pay for it all myself I want this trip over a car.
