Lewis Hamilton, 22, may take the F1 world championship today. Out of 16 races he has achieved 12 podiums, it's hard to believe it's his first year in Formula 1.

Current point standings -

Lewis Hamilton: 107
Fernando Alonso: 103
Kimi Räikkönen: 100

Depending how it goes it could be any of these folk's race.

HALLELUIA! someone else who pays attention to Formula 1 besides me!:w00t: and Kimi won. im a Ferrari fan, but Hamilton shouldnt have went out like that. falling that far, thats just a cruel thing for fate to do.

this thread is gonna disappear fast.

Don't worry, there are more of us around(I've been an F1 fan for at least 25 years now, started watching in the heydays of Nelson Piquet, Nigel Mansell, Alain Prost, etc.)& I was QUITE pleased to see Kimi finally win it(he even SMILED on the podium, so he really DOES have emotions, he just hides them well)....:naughty:

To be honest about it, I only watch F1 every now and then. This season has been interesting to follow tho'.

There's been some controversy over Williams and another team illegally cooling their fuel, if they're disqualified then Hamilton would gain more points and win the championship - but I doubt they're going to let yet more politics bog down the racing more than it already has this year. McLaren have naturally appealed the decision to not disqualify those drivers.

they said on TV that (maybe it was Massa) said that Kimi is dead from the feet up. good description. this is the only time i ever saw him show emotion. and even then it was pretty mild. i like Massa better cause he isnt a cold fish. he just had really bad luck this year.

and the races this year would have been better if frickin Mercedes didnt steal their car design from Ferrari.:mad: besides Ferrari, everyone else didnt even have a chance. maybe part of the punishment that they got states that they cant use this car next year.
