Do people ask you for weed?

I want to know if any of you have been asked by strangers, whether or not you have marijuana? Now, I can remember a couple of times where some dude just walked up and asked. My answer was always "no", except one time when I was in a bad mood and added "and even if I did, I wouldn't give you any." This happened to me outside a school, at a bus station and outside of a shopping centre.

I need to know, is this a common occurrence? or maybe I just look like a complete stoner :smokin: and don't realize it.

In highschool I was a bit of a stoner, but I was never that stupid. My friends were, though- I remember one guy who ended up with a $50 bag of alfalfa because of it. His sister ended up feeding it to her rabbit.

It's funny, nobody ever asked me unless they knew me because I was known as a geek who got high grades and thought that Jonathon Swift was a minor diety- yet I was more likely to have some than most of the average students.

But then again, where I live, it seems that the only time the cops will care if you have a small amount on you is when they need to refill their own stash.

Nope, I have never been asked for weed. I dress like friggin' Light Yagami so I don't exactly have the 'pothead' look to me, I guess that might be one of the contributing factors as to why I have never been confronted with this question. Another reason is probably because I don't act or talk like a stoner would.

The funny thing is, I actually DO (or did) smoke weed every once in a while. And no it didn't make me any less intelligent or a failure at life, but it is a very overrated and immature activity that I won't take part in ever again.

Everyone has a different reaction to smoking weed and I don't mean the "eww weed is gross reaction", I mean the actually side-effects. A persons experience getting high varies from maybe mine or yours... Some people don't even get high. When I hookah I get so chilled, but (hypothetically speaking) when I smoke weed, nothing happens :/.

Funny occurrence. Maybe it is the way I dress or style my hair but I think it was like two or three times in one day. I was taking a walk in a well-known park and two or three different people asked me "You got smokes?" And i think one person wanted to sell me some.

At first I thought he meant cigarettes but later on i realized it was something else they wanted. New experience at the time. I won't be taken aback IF something like that happens again (although i don't foresee that happening again).

If people can use them responsibly without harming other people why should it matter? If you want to go rock climbing, that also carries risks, yet people do it anyway for the rush.

I never once said they were good for society did I? In fact I agree they are bad, because immature people use them irresponsibly. Granted, some hard drugs can not even really be used responsibly.

Also, "illegal" is subjective to whatever government is in control at the time. Things are not just grown and are magically illegal.

I've been asked mostly if I wanted weed. A couple times I was asked if I had any. I have a bunch of friends that smoke, and a couple dealers. I went to a catholic school and so did all of these people. Funny how that works.

Honestly though, I can't distinguish between my friends who smoke weed and the ones that don't. They are all normal to me. Of course that doesn't make me want to go smoke weed, I have never touched the stuff simply because I don't feel like getting high. I have plenty of other ways of getting a rush, or having fun, even though some activities are not exactly acceptable. Everyone wants to have fun their own way, that's the way it is.

Weed, like other soft drugs, such as shrooms, mescaline, DMT, LSD (my personal favorite ;) ), etc, are NOT physically addictive (although once you try them many people certainly find that they enjoy them and will continue using them, but will suffer absolutely no withdrawal symptoms once they stop). Hard drugs, such as cocaine, ice, alcohol, tobacco, and opiates, are addictive on the other hand.

As per the OPs question, I've been asked for weed before, because of my reputation, and my appearance. I have since then actually quit smoking weed, because the high i get from it usually makes me very antisocial, and I got tired of always being at some parties high as balls not able to hold a conversation.

What is disturbing about wishing criminals get caught and sent to jail for a time, fined, and put on probation? I dont see anything wrong with that....it wasn't wishing anyone harm at all. Infact, it as wishing them to get help. People say it isn't addicting, but it has a very high psycological addiction. An addiction is an addiction.
What I find disturbing is the people wishing a clean, friendly, lalwabiding citizen to be hit by a bus.

The psychological addiction of marijuana is no greater than that of food, TV, gambling, masturbation or anything else that people become psychologically "addicted" to.

I think that wishing a negative experience on anyone is wrong, and is evident of an issue that you might have with yourself. If you really wanted to help people, you would start a dialogue with people who use marijuana, find out why they use it, how it makes them feel, etc, and offer them advice or turn them on to what you feel are better, legal, alternatives. If you really wanted to help people, you would NOT be here, doing what you are doing, spreading negative vibes and wishing ill towards others, who are simply doing something that you don't understand.
