:lol: I think that kind of stuff is cool. To see how different some cultures are from the ones I'm used to seeing... AWESOME. And these are the extremes. Now all they need is some pillows music in the background. ^_^

I will never fathom why anyone in any culture gets any piercing in any section of the body.

It just doesn't make any sense. And the only one that even looks mildly attractive is ear piercings for earrings (and only on the lobes; christ people pierce themselves in weird places).

I will never fathom why anyone in any culture gets any piercing in any section of the body.

The same reason some cultures carve thousands of tiny cuts onto a teenager's back to look like crocodile skin (oh yea, rock'in the Science Channel I is) or get a tatoo or modify their teeth with braces even if they pose no threat to the jaw's integrity.

I'm immune to these sorts of piercings through exposure (the guns weren't that bad), but that one guy with the dozens of needles going through his mouth is in for one hell of a painful aftermath. >.<
