For This Ain't a Scene, I just liked the beginning of the music video and its just funny, and yeah it kinda made me like the song.

I haven't met a single male FOB fan. I find Pete Wentz to be incredibly irritating. He's a mediocre bassist who can't even backup sing, and yet he acts as if he's the star of the show just because he's somewhat handsome (by the way, he's got a small penis, as those photo's on the internet will show you) and that he made PATD popular. Also, the lead singer is chubby who sings like he has corks up his nose, and the drummer looks like an emo Jack White. The only guy I like is the guitarist, only because I think he has the only real stage pressence and that his Jewfro is ammusing.

From this th=read you now know a few male fans. Ok. He's not an amazing bassist, but not horrible. So I guess mediocre is a good way of describing it, though who knows if he actually has talent he deosn't usse. I find his back-up vox to be very good, especially in Thnks Fr Th Mmrs. Making PATD popular is nothing to be proud of. Patrick Stump's voice is awesome, and the drummer looks nothing like Jack White. The guitarist has stage presence and talent, and your opinions on his "jewfro" matter not to me.

Seems like a long time since you checked. MyChem is basically a blend of metal, goth-punk, and emo. Their new album however also includes old swing-type music and a cince of honky-tonk, as they are going for a 1920's type of look.
Also, I always considered FOB alternative whereas PATD was pop-punk.

Just because a band sings about death, doesn't make them emo.

Oh no no, not at all:O I'm just saying that it has a little bit of lyrics that deal with the subject of lost love coupled with confusion of one's life or whatever, which is what emo songs basically encompass. But they also have a bit o' punk in there because they have the whole "rebel against those that put you down".

Same with Fall Out Boy, who are completely not emo. Everyone just uses 'emo' as an excuse these days for not liking something, it's like the new 'gay'. FOB isn't emo one bit. They're new(er) album is amazing, but I don't care for THis Ain't a Scene.

Their songs can be catchy, which I dislike since I don't like them, but they aren't emo. An the song titles are way to long, it's like their trying to be all original an whatnot by givin them all these names, it's just lame to me, I dunno. It's all very repetitive to me too
