Now, I love the Arctic Monkeys. They're probably in my top 3 favorite bands. But seeing as only the Brits voted, and not even every single one of them, I fail to see how this makes them the best band in the world.

But yes, they are damn amazing. Catchy melodies, great chord work, great instrumentation, and Alex's voice is sex.

look at all of the rock bands England has ever produced. i dont know about this band, it may be a good one. but it will never do what so many of the other English bands did for Rock.

I must say that the Arctic Monkeys are curently my favorite Brit-rock band.
I do agree with sora sol and kenpatchi though.
