Jack Johnson

I have recently become as some know a beach bum that followed a 3 digit+ weight loss. As such I feel that Jack Johnson's music is amazing. I have grown more mature over the years and really don't care what people think about why I like the music, I usually just say I am a beach bum and the music reminds me of the beach, love, and better times. Any thoughts about him and maybe a better approach as to how to deal with people saying things about the music I choose would be really helpful.^_^

I haven't heard of Jack Johnson before, but I do listen to a good bit of surf music. Mostly stuff by **** Dale and the Rumblers. There are literally hundreds of surf bands that have come and gone over the years, collecting their music is a fun hobby to get into.
As for what other folks think of my taste in music, I don't worry about it. Music is a pretty personal thing, just go with what moves you. And, keep an open mind about different types of music....

How does he remind you of the beach??

I like him, he's a good songwriter and deos some pretty awesome stuff. I like his voice a lot.
