I'm talking about the song "Bed" by J. Holiday. I propose we form a militant faction and take out this problem at its roots.
What I mean is, why does someone like this even get money for that crap? I could put a dying cat on an mp3 and make better music than that...
Sorry if I offend anyone.

You know I havent heard the song yet but I saw my bro has the CD (probably not his since we're broke and haven't paid rent yet) so I was curious as to what it was, but not so much now.

I just looked up the song. Wtf, the lyrics are like... lame, and the background sounds like those crappy "organic, ambient, newage hippy waterfountain" CDs they have at the Nature Store (don't ask why I go to the Nature Store).
Is it just me, or does it sound in some parts like he's trying to go Bone Thugs, and just comes off as being weak?
Speaking of Bone Thugs, I just came across this

I don't know what he was trying to pull off, but unless he was trying to pull of failure, he faild. Horribly.

Or at least todays R&B. Sometimes when I hear something that's supposed to be R&B I mix it up for hip hop....-_-;

"Oh Heavens, the new guy makes a bad song, and it gets popular, I got to make a thread about this!!" Well, Fobbs, where exactly were you and your fancy threads when "Same Girl" was at the height of its popularity?!! What?!! You can pick on poor Popeye, but when it comes to Usher and R. Kelly, everything's all honky dory?!! You suck!! :angry: Or, what about Chris Brown's screeching on the "Umbrella" remix. Or, T-Pain's obsession with strip club employees? "She bought us drinks to drink, we drunk them, got drunk." Tell me, Fobby, are you a part of T-Pain's entourage?!! Were you drunking some of them dranks, huh?! Are you in love with the Bouncer?!
:lol: Anywho, whatever... I don't like the song, but what're you gonna do? And, we were just kiddin' about T-Pain. His songs are stupid, but they're funny as Hell... If Hell were funny, that is. And, very truthful... I myself was once in Love with a stripper... :cool: Or was that some fat guy on Youtube? :unsure:

I don't really blame you since most of these r&b guys are unsure whether they want to be singers or rappers these days. Either that or they sing little kids songs... sigh we need more John Legend in the industry.

But yeah, don't confuse that radio shizzle for R&B.

Chocolate Rain was mildly entertaining. This song here is suicide music.

Don't worry, im sure in a month or two someone will reveal that he pissed on them or police will find tons of child pornagraphy on his hard drive much like the "No talents" before him.

I'm actually going to change my stance now that I have given his album a quick skim through (very quick), it doesn't sound that bad. hell it might even grow on me. its much better than the likes of Chris Brown or Omarion or *insert other singer whose target audience seems to be under 18 (not intended as an allusion since I can sort of respect some of R Kelly's music) here*.
No i take everything I said back. It is slightly better than the type of artists I mentioned. But I really can't give it more than one or two listens (one or two listens more than most r&b acts out now). Dammit, when the hell is Ginuwine putting out an album?

What happened to that guy anyways? He fell off the face of the earth I think..
But personally J Holiday had way too much of a bad impression on me for me to check out the rest of his stuff. I might some day, but certainly not anytime soon
