Book help

So I have a vague description of a book, and I need help finding the name and author. :D

So basically, some guy pretends to choke at various resturaunts.

The cover has a human body on it, like the anatomy of...

Like I said, vague...but hopefully some of you literary nuts'll help me out.

Ah, I'm currently half-way through it. It's good, but it'll never surpass his Fight Club.

He's an interesting author who knows how to make you queasy (have you read his short story "Guts"? It's very effective at that. You'll have to google it, though as it isn't a published story) or twist your emotions in any which way he wants.

It was ok. Pretty much as really pointless as the rest of his books. I agree with Holy Knight, it'll never surpass Fight Club.
