My favorite book would probably be On The Road.

Reading Dharma Bums at the mo. First Kerouac I've read, I'm liking it, although it's not quite what I expected.

On the Road is better I take it?

It's one of his better known works, that's why I read it. I've not read DB so IU can't compare.

On the Road is a little bit more accessable, and much more interesting. Im also trying to make my way through Desolation Angels, which so far is a very hard read. his works go off the deep end later in his life. Im gonna probably ask for the original scroll edition of On The Road for christmas, which is the orriginal novel as it was before being sent to an editor.
