Bleach cosplay costumes?

Hello there ,i would like to start my first cosplay,and i thought it should be something easy to do.So my first thought was Orihime Inoue in school costume and Shinigami costume.Practically all i need is the costumes and the hair pins.My hair is pretty much like Orihime's i just need to make them a bit more bright i guess.
Any suggestions were i can find on net the best Bleach costumes for Orihime?

Well, for shinigami, I got mine at Cosaru.com The site seems to be down as i type this, but they are great. The Shinigami Hakama is a real Hakama too, so you will have to learn how to put one on, I did. It is pretty awesome. The robe plus shipping for me was 138 though. I don't know what your budget is.

Well i dont live in USA so probably will cost me more...and i hope they ship international.My budget hmmm i have no idea but if i like something doesnt matter the price that much.

Well, they give some gifts if you send pictures of yourself in their costumes. Theres a few limited to the states, but there are some that says International with the gifts, so i suppose it is possible, just probably depends where exactly you live.

I recommend you do not go as a bleach character. There are always a TON of bleach characters at cons. You will most likely just blend in.
I suggest try a different series. Something still popular so you will be recognized.

Yes, that is why I don't want to use it for a con. I mean, I plan on using it on Halloween night, but as for cons, it is just another face in the crowd type of thing. I wish i could sew though. I have the perfect Bleach costume idea, haha. One character no one has done, and making him cooler. I am keeping it hush though incase if something goes well somewhere down the line. :)

I am gonna try Yoruichi also now thus i changed hair color and people wont look me..there...questioning :P The hard part will be the skin...because i am naturally white.I will try post something if i make it through first step.Will be late though if you consider were i live <.<

How far is the con? I would recommend getting a tan if it isn't too too far away. Other than that, get some darker face makeup or something. Tans are pretty unhealthy, so Makeup would be the best way to go. You should go to your nearest drug store and pick up some dark foundation, powders...etc, granted you have none already, but if you did, I doubt you would be asking. :P Anywho, I wish you like with her. :)

Hey folks, quick question (since this is a Bleach cosplay thread, after all; sorry to sorta hijack, OP): does anyone have any ideas/tips for cosplaying as Grimmjow? I can get his outfit easily enough, my problems are threefold; first, the hole in his abdomen, not really sure how to proceed since it's...well, see-through, second, the hair - I know nothing about hair coloring or styling. Lastly, what should I do about the mask he wears on the side of his face? I'm thinking I'd probably have to make it, but I wouldn't know how to make sure it stayed on my face if I did.

1. Well, that is pretty impossible to work around. If his body has even a bit of tint to white or something there, I would say just try using that. If not, check Cosplaylab.com, and see what everyone else that did him used in that situation.
2. Well, theres always wigs. You could buy one and style it yourself, or find a comissioner to do it for you. I really got to learm myself, haha.
3. The mask, yea, you might have to make it too. I am sure you could get a comissioner at Cosplay.com to make one for you. There are alot of willing souls over there, and there is even a feedback thread in the spam board.


Note, I have never seen what he looked like myself..I only got to episode 114 and stopped.

My avatar/sig has the mask, at least. The hole is pretty much just above the waistband where the bellybutton would be; the walls of his innards are basically all black. Hurm, maybe I could pull an Ulquiorra and make it just a black spot (Ulquiorra has the hole in his neck, all black)...thanks for the suggestions.

Tan is unhealthy yep but makeup stuff that makes my skin darked would look stupid :S Still if i can find something good.Then again i need for the body too...meh;)

Some dark of this stuff might work. I know it conceals well, so it might really work for color. I don't know. Just got to find the right makeup, and rub it in very good. Best idea is to find a friend that knows alot about makeup, or find a salon person who knows and maybe they can tell you some things to help you out, or put it on for you to make it look better.

Well, I know the Max Factor kind works very well, just up to you though. Store brand of anything doesn't work too well in some cases. I got one for $8.07 at the Brooks Pharmacy near me. it really will be great for cosplay.

If i did i would do Shinigami uniform,but i think you guys are talking -and prefer?- school uniform.

See, I never care. In my eyes, it isn't breasts i am attracted to. Like I said in the past, I love the cute girls more than the voluptuous ones. I would take alot of girls over Matsumoto, or any other big breasted girl who isn't cute at all anyday. I say that because Orihime is both, haha.

I have some other problem.If i use my natural hair for Yoruichi,what should i put for make the front ones stand up like hers?It is weird style and i dunno if hairgel will look good,or destroy my hair -.-.Wax for hair would be better or they arent strong enough?

I think hairgel would be ok. but wax might work too. (I tend not to use that stuff so I don;t know for sure)

I actually took pictures in my Byakuya costume yesterday, and used the gel i have for my natural hair up front, and it looked pretty good. I used Got2b Hair styling gel. It smelled sort of like apples too, and it held really strong. I took a shower before doing it, and after when i was trying to wash it out by sticking my hair under the faucet, it still held pretty well...maybe too well. I suppose it really is good for wig styling too. I really recommend it, haha.

Yea, everyone gets curious, haha. Only very few know what i look like...maybe 2-3 online in the passed...6 years now? Tend to keep it that way. ^_^ See me at a con, no problem, but pictures online is a no-no. :P

Anyways since i cant go in a con and have never seen any cosplay from close thats how it is. Your desicion about dont post pics online is respectable,i tend to be like this too. Last ,since i cant see,i hope you cosplayed Byakuya nicely ^_^

Haha, it came out very nicely, just I need to figure a better idea for the hair clip things. Funny enough, Index cards and hair clips work awesomely (:P), however, the hairclip doesn't secure the card too well. Looked really fabulous though, but oh well. xD I know I will be having fun at Halloween. :P

All I can say though, is that my friends said "Wow", and when I sent the image to the comissioner, they said wow too, but I don't know if that is just because well....It is their costume, and they are trying to say you look magnificent in them to buy more. :P....Well, they are good anyways, so I don't care. ^_^
