Back to the subject at hand. Yahoo and Rotten Tomatoes has an occasional hentai review, and of course RA, but I'd really like to see a more comprehensive site

The problem with most reviewers who try to review hentai is that hentai needs a different criteria. For instance, they'll trash an anime for having a plot which is pretty much only a way to justify sex, all the while seemingly forgetting that hentai is a genre which revolves around sex. All it does is feed candy to all the "anti-hentai" people out there. It doesn't really help those of us who care about and actively watch hentai.
It's like a site which reviews Hollywood movies suddenly trying to review a porn film. Porn is not made with the same goals in mind as other types of movies. I mean, sure, porn can have a plot and okay acting. However, the main goal of the people who made the porno was not to produce something that could be judged on the same criteria as Casablanca.
It's been said that the market for normal anime is completely different than the market for any other anime genre.

As the site's name and slogan justifies Hentai Fan Guide: By fans for fans . I am working on the groundwork for the site now and am pretty much done. I hope to get a lot of the various genres cataloged within the next few months. I hope to be done with that by mid November. Of course help will speed that up.

Also once I start getting the reviews underway I would like to hear from mainly the fans of that genre, though that doesn't mean that if you don't like say ashikoki, and yet you watch one and actually find it good or find it lacking other things to keep you entertained that you should review, in fact knowing these things might help others find the hentai the are looking for.

For example if they know you don't like ashikoki and yet you gave it a good review and high marks they could glean that either it is not the kind of ashikoki hentai they are looking for because it probably had scenes other than ashikoki in it. Or that if you hated it then it was probably mostly ashikoki and those that are ashikoki fan might love it.

I am have set up some stuff to keep a running total of what you seemed to have looked at the most or searched for the most those creating a list of your "interests." This will be listed with you profile so that other will know if you are a compatible fan or not. And those find out what hentai you enjoyed the most.

- Well anything goes as it is my server and it is currently locked down to only users that are 18+ years old.

- Most definitely I would like to see the Box art on the hentai review pages.

- I would like to have these for the individual character pages, of course weather nude art will be allowed will be up to debate, because as soon as that is allowed we won't be able to post links to the site here. Though in the future when we become a larger site this might be a feature that can be added.
