Favorite Comic Book Villains?

I just saw an episode of The Batman which featured the Clock King. He is no doubt one of my more favorite Batman villains. Clayface is pretty awesome, too. I hope to see one of those guys in a movie at some point.

Would the Punisher Max version qualify as a villain? Granted He goes around killing bad guys but he's not carrying a badge and it's not exactly for self defense.

I ask this because I see Venom listed and he's generally on the side of good. At least that's how I rememberd him from the 90s.

MAX Castle´s douchiness is often covered up by the writers by making Villains like Barracuda. People so hardcore evil that he ends up in the right.

And the original venom found God and sold his symbiote to Mac ´The Scorpion´ Gargan. He is a superhero now, but a very evil one that has a habit of crippling and dismembering unregistered heroes.

You're right, she doesn't. She's a superhero(sadly enough). She also beat Dr. Doom.

I still like Apocalypse myself and Bane. Bane was a badass unlike how the movie portrayed him he was smart as hell and egomaniacal.

He's the only guy that can compete with Batman in a "fair" fight. Everyone else just loses. Badly.

Not ultimately, but for the bulk of the series, he's definitely on the Top Ten List of Beings To Avoid.

Not just a nut, but a sadistic, intelligent, charming nut at that. Joker's still my fave Batman (hell, my favorite American comic) villian, even when he was camped out in the 60's Batman series.

I like most of the Arkham Asylum villians, especially the Riddler, the Penguin and Mr. Freeze.

In the Marvel-verse, definately Magneto is my fave Marvel villian, with Sabertooth (yes, I loved Sabertooth when I was small), and Dr. Octopus.

Doc Ock is easily my favorite Spider-Man villain.

As far as the Joker is concerned, I can easily acknowledge that he's a good pick for "favorite" villain. There are a lot of reasons why people would pick him, I just wanted to hear some of them. He is almost-literally (if not litarally) Batman's polar opposite. Meanwhile, Harvey Dent is Batman's bi-polar opposite *rimshot*

My favorite supervillains are any Batman villain (except for Lock-Up. I wonder why he got put in the comics before Harley Quinn). I also like Lex Luthor, Darkseid, and Metallo.
