That's kinda scary, knowing you're being watched on the net. I mean sure; you can just check the browsers history, but still...

I know they're cute, but, I'm sure pop-up police are really annoying. I wonder if you can adblock the police spamming you with illegal activity warning, or whether that's illegal too...

Big brother says the internet is a bad place,
Big brother says it is for your protection.

That would be annoying, but hey, I don't live in China. Oh, the police designs are amusing.

And while they are strolling past they take a peek at what you are looking at? Just make sure to navigate away if you happen to be checking your bank balance when those crooked pop-cops appear! :O

Edit: I wonder if they have a little red cross on them?

I have a friend who is stationed at the embassy in Beijing, we were seeing how closely they monitor websites and email so we started posting anti Mao/Red Chinese sloagans on forums and in his private email. The ended up blocking one site which we thought was hilarious.

A Chinese wife proves far more effective than the Chinese police at stopping one man from using the internet.

In court, the husband pleaded with the judge to release his wife, since he was to blame for breaking his promise.
Wow, that guy is on a leash.

Yeah, no. Some woman pulls a knife on me due to my internet addiction, she's more or less going to get knocked the hell out.

And lawl @ internet police. It's cool, though. I watch hetero porn anyway, so we're basically helping each other out.

The real question is how did she cut it off that fast? Did she run into the net caffe with a meat slicer? Last I checked it's not that easy to cut someone's hand off that fast. Maybe this all part of China's attempt at their SCGJ (Stop Chatting, Get Job) campaign

You know those really huge chopping knives everyone uses in chinese cookery, the ones that are like a square block that's about a foot long and 6 inches wide and super-super sharp? You can cut through meat and bone in one chop with one of those, but you'd hear it hitting the desk...

...maybe he was deaf?

Maybe he'd just learned to filter out his wife's nagging.

I can kind of picture my mother getting this angry about my dad going off having fun on his own. I don't think she'd cut anything off my dad, though. Chinese women are very very scary when angry. That's my impression.

It's ironic that Prons linked to a yahoo news article, because Yahoo is being sued by several Chinese citizens (in the US) because Yahoo provided the Communist government with information/evidence about them from the internet that led to their arrest and torture for attempting to use the internet as a vehicle for free speech.
