OH MY GOD, THAT'S AMAZING.

Seriously. The really sad thing is that all the Americans at cons can't coordinate (or dance~!) as well as these inmates.

Favorite'd.

I bet Aya Hirano, Yuko Goto, and Minori Chihara are proud that their song has brought happiness to the lives of inmates.

The inmates also look like teenagers, maybe they are high school students and not prison inmates?

This was on some TV show about Youtube a couple of weeks ago. People were concerned that this was mistreatment if the inmates, and only done by an immense state of fear of the warden.

Are you serious? What if they were FORCED to learn the dance, wouldn't that be horrible?

XD. It was funny. I laughed pretty hard.

They were forced. In fact, EVERYONE had to do it, aside from people who were elderly and perhaps had problems. Otherwise, they spent hours everyday practicing and being forced to dance. Supposedly, until some peoples feet would even start to bleed.

In adition to floggings and eletric torture. Third world prisons are fun.

What a shame...?

I'm all for prisons being about punishment, rather than tax payer paid hotels with cable TV. I suppose it depends on the justice system of the Phillipines tho. If they throw people in prison for little reason, then I could see this being an issue, but if they have a well thought out justice system than it shouldn't be an issue.

...oh man. my peoples. i guess the secret's out. Yes, Filipinos love to dance - whether it be for punishment or pleasure.

Well, thing is, most of the people were jailed for political reasons, and are just awaiting trials. Most of the crimes are very minor. There are the ones that are very dire too however.

Gotta love third world countries! This is why I will never travel to Mexico, nearly every southeast asian country, and the middle east.

Yeah I have realized that all the flip girls I know can dance well. I know one who dances so well I just may put her through college if you catch my drift.
