I had her for many years since 1994 along with Coco who died in February of this year, and now my other Dog named Sissy who is female one, is going next. She is suffering as I can see.

My Grandmother and her friend are taking her to the Vet, I didn't want to go because I don't want to suffer any more sadness.

I no longer have any Pets. And my grandmother plans not to get any more. They bring you joy and happiness, then when they are dying, it brings up a painful sadness in me.

Monday was a bad day for me, Tuesday a slightly mediocre day, and not today is a nightmare for me.

Please don't think me wrong for not going to the vet, because the one time I did it was horrifying to me.

I hate losing a loved one even if its a pet.

Sorry about that. It does always hurt losing a pet. Its happened to me on more than one occasion.

Great news, or some type of good news, my grandmother just came back home with my Dog Sissy and the Vet may be able to help her. I feel a little better now.

Glad to hear she might be okay. Sucks that you've went through this already though. My dog died in February of this year after having her for a little over 18 years. I'm 21 so all of life as I pretty much knew it she was there. Old age for a dog is both awesome to see and sad at the same time. It's great when they get to live their lives fully which is why after the first few days I didn't have a hard time dealing with the fact she was gone. Seeing them age and lose pretty much their identity of who they once were was sad. Since unlike people when aged, you're limited by not like an animal who just sleeps most of the day. Lucky for me she was as active as can be till she turned 16 so that was a load of years.

Hopefully Sissy has a few more good years left in her. :)

Hope your dog recovers, Lacan...

Some of my old internet-friends were a couple who have a paraplegic dog. It's called Darmoth. He was hit by a car as a puppy, neither of his back legs work, and the vet wanted to put him down, but they wouldn't let that happen. Seems to be doing just fine now...

My dog got put down a couple of years ago cause he had tumors in his lungs,
12 years old and still pretty healthy (apart from his lungs). He had one hell of a run that dog.

I'm sorry. I had a rat named Chester and he was my lil guy. He broke his neck by a miss-hap with his running wheel. I had to put him to sleep.
