Okay, I watched the raw.
Mmmm... it seems like things are getting really exciting now.:) As far as art and animation, it's Team 1 who did this one.
Anyway, that's all I'm saying until the sub comes out.
Oh, and I do feel like the movie openings are spoiling the movie for me. They're cool and all, but it's just spoiling. Hm, maybe I won't remember too many of the specifics by the time it's released on DVD...

When does the movie come out? I really don't follow anime that closely. Just tune in once in awhile to keep up with the anime and manga.

hahahaha, Naruto is on Namek time now. This antidote will only last 3 minutes, exluding 5 min of me standing around talking, and heling granny and myself, another 5 min of flashbacks and Sasori transforming himself, and probably a whole nother episode

Mmm... I would say something, but I'm not the type to spoil...
The movie is already out in Japan. It was released on the 4th of August there. The DVD release will probably be out in April or so.

This was a great episode, if only for the lack of recycled team gai fight footage. I thought it was interesting that Kakashi said that
was as smart as Shikimaru

I was surprised thatthe trailer at the end spoiked why Orichimaru left the Akatsuki. That only happened about 20 Chapter ago in the manga.

Well we 'knew' what happened way more than 20 chapters ago, but we didn't 'see' what happened until about 20 chapters ago.
Anyway, decent episode I've been looking forward to 10 vs 100 for a long time now so hopefully it'll be good.

Thank god. The animation didn't totally suck in this episode. It was actually pretty good.

This episode was terrible... Anti-venom that lasts for 3 minutes, but really 20 minutes... Kakashi telling the guy exactly how he got away from the spiders... Kakashi becoming a self-righteous bastard... More scenes of running away... More scenes of standing around... Us, the audience, learning nothing new in any way, shape, or form... A complete waste of 22 minutes...

That's sort of true...the story only progressed by 1 minute (Sakura said she still has 2 minutes left)!!! But at least we know that we'll see a lot of butt-kicking in the next episode :P

yeah, one minute that aparently included at least 10min of conversation. Thats why I say they must be on planet Namek

Even though that episode WAS on "Namek time", it was well paced. I'm glad "Team 1" animated it, I sure wish they'd be used more often (hopefully they will now that the movie is all done). That extra bit with Kakashi evading Deidara's spiders was a pretty cool addition. Even the post credit thing with Deidara talking to Sasori was cool. I wish this one was an hour special though, it ended all too soon. I'm also glad we didn't see any more Team Gai vs themselves footage; for something that was so briefly touched on in the manga, they're finding a good way to drag it out painfully (just start the fight, remind us once, and end it; no need to show them fighting themselves so often). Great episode.

Well, when it comes to Team 9, I think they were the ones drawing and animating the previous episode, I would prefer for them to be stuck with filler stuff instead of the cool parts. It would just ruin things if the least funded or cheapest animation team did the best scenes from the manga.

I felt that this episode was much better than the last one, and not just because this episode did not once show Team Gai (although I did say before that I was getting tired of their repetitive fight scenes constantly interrupting the battle between Sakura and Sasori). There was just something about this episode that seemed..."cleaner," I guess (for lack of a better word), than the last episode, and it could have been simply been a matter of which team did the animation.
And it was about time they got to the part where we see the Puppet Master's greatest creation (that would be himself, of course). And I have to say, that looked a lot more grotesque animated - and in colour - than it did in still, black-and-white panels.

I thought the same. For some reason, I never imagined the spiked whip acting snake-like. Sasori's true form seems much more powerful and intimidating animated than it did in the manga.
