Would people worry about poor dogs without balls (http://www.neuticles.com/index1.html).   I wonder how this discussion comes up at the dinner table.

I actually heard about these years ago. I think that a freshly neutered male dog is probably more concerned about his newfound inability to have sex than the shape of his nether region, but I could be mistaken.
So... not only in America.
My vet said Neuticles are not ethical. Is that true?
We feel the removal of a God given body part - leaving a male pet looking unwhole after the traditional form of neutering is not only unethical but unnatural. With Neuticles it's like nothing ever changed.
Contradictory much?
Do Neuticles come in different models?
Neuticles are available in three models: NeuticleOriginals (rigid firmness) NeuticleNatural (natural firmness) and Neuticles UltraPLUS. Each are crafted from FDA medically-approved (for human use) materials- replicating the animals testicle in size, shape, weight and feel.
Different levels of firmness? But why... who are they trying to please? Is it customary for American dog owners to fondle the gonads of their pet?

I just has an epiphany about this, if you could make a translucent sack and put leds in the Nueticals you could have safty Nueticals for walking your dog at night! Think of the people that would be saved by blinking dog balls.

I trust you won't mind, but I've simply got to preserve that quote for posterity.

Just a question, when a dog is neutered, do they just remove their testicles?

You, my dear, obviously do not watch enough Penn and Teller.
If you've a strong stomach for to watch an old man fondle his dogs, watch the episode called 'Pet Love'. Admiring his work, or whatnot.

Dog ≠ Human. "My dog needs fake balls, my dog needs to birth at least one litter, my dog'll starve if he doesn't eat tenderloin, my dog regrets not being able to mate, my dog'll be sad if I discipline him." Octopi God Dammit!! They're dogs!!
Then again, what can you do? Humans and all their irrational feelings and whatnot actin' all weird and stuff. Dog = Human Child, I guess ($$$$$$$$$...). :shifty:

I just had to put a fellow posters comment up from the Off Topic Brigade
Oh my gods, equine and bull balls! I won't have to be kicked in the head again!

I don't like neutering dogs but I don't think implants would solve anything. Dogs shouldn't be neutered, they should let them have babies and then give their puppies to either little lonely children or the Military.
Just a question, when a dog is neutered, do they just remove their testicles?
Yes, because this in itself would remove most, if not all, of the glands that produce testosterone which makes wild dogs and most un-neutered domestic so violent. But that just takes away their natural violence, they can still be taught to be violent. As I have found out with my dog...

This is why I have cats! All my femmes are spayed, but for Kiko who is too young, and lady-killers Cloud and Aeryn will be seeing their days for reproducing becoming numbered very soon. Taking the sac from a male cat really doesn't make him less violent when it comes to territories, but it keeps them from tormenting the fixed females. (Cloud is very, very bad about this!)
Not sure if it works this way with dogs, but I'm not really wanting to find out

I saw this on the last season of Penn & Teller: Bullsh!t. You should hear the enthusiasm with which this guy talks about paying thousands of dollars to put fake balls in your dog who can't tell the difference.
Dogs shouldn't be neutered, they should let them have babies and then give their puppies to either little lonely children or the Military.
Because clearly, there aren't nearly enough stray dogs and unwanted puppies around. It's not like people are giving them away, right?!
And last time I checked, the military wasn't desperate for any and every dog they could get their hands on.

They aren't desperate for them, but I think a large K-9 division would be good. Ever heard of Soviet Tank Dogs?
