Yep, the series is still going on in Japan and by the looks of it, will be for years to come. Its worth the wait as the story is done by the creator herself, and not an animation studio.

I believe that there are 14 released in English.

Just got the latest english release (hang on i'll check .... thud, crash, scream) Yup, vol 14, its getting a little irritating having to waits months between each vol, but well worth the wait.
