well I forgot to list everything I mean only the stuff I find I listen to a lot. ( I do listen to Pantera though) most of the 'mainstream/well known' bands I've already listened too.
and before you say it kenshin I got the whole Pillows Discography on my comp. I love Stalker Goes to Babylon. Beginning is really eerie.

It seems that you're just one band away from finding out that you're actually a power metal fanatic. So...
Falconer
Blind Guardian
Pantera (Anything Cowboys from Hell and earlier)
Slough Feg
Wintersun
Sonata Arctica
Iced Earth
Elvenking
Lost Horizon
And the non power metal:
Ensiferum
Finntroll
Jethro Tull
Scorpions
Flogging Molly
Tidusauron12

Thanks all and Suki's just voicing her opinion I don't really care its not a big deal. It would have been helpful though if she would at least mention a band though.

 Wow, no Nine inch Nails or A Perfect Circle(the guy from tool's other band) recommendations yet. If you like Hot Hot Heat and Franz Ferdinand, you will probably like Interpol's new album.
If you like Drop Kick Murphy's, give the Unseen a listen. You may prefer their older stuff than their newer stuff. You might really love this band, or not.

Whenever you talk about rush it's an automatic QFT even if it's not officially "metal"
And for the record SOAD is the WORST crap I've ever heard.
