You know what? I just finished reading New Avengers: Illuminati #4. For the first half of the book, they went on about women they go out with. Mr. Fantastic starts talking about how Sue always walks out on him and where she goes when she leaves the Baxter building. The entire illuminati turns to Namor, and he goes into a monologue about how Reed doesn´t love Sue enough and how he has and still is trying to sleep with her. He says this right in front of her goddamn husband.

And I was thinking to myself, what would be better than this? And it hit me.

Itachi dying. Let us all hope.

Jinto will not be happy if that happens. I don't know from that scan it looks like Itachi is going to have a talk with Naruto or wants to meet with him. Maybe give him some hints about Pain or he might be trying to capture Naruto.

And then there would be absolutely no reason for Sasuke to be here. A lot of my favorite characters died and Kishi kept Sasuke around. Sasuke angers me.

And by who, is limited, there are only a few people capable of killing him.

I don't feel like Naruto or Sasuke are going to get the op to kill Itachi. I do feel however, that they will be able to fight him again, at least Sasuke will. I just have a hunch that another Akatsuki member is going to try to get rid of Itachi by somehow finding out his true motives.

I'm pretty sure Naruto or Sasuke will be the one to kill Itachi, or he will let himself die or kill himself. It'd be a terrible cliché if anyone else did him in, that would be pointless; the whole main plot is Naruto trying to rescue Sasuke because Sasuke is determined to kill Itachi. Having another Akatsuki member do him in would be a horrendous ill-thought out plot twist.

Anyway, the chapter was interesting. Darn that Karin for throwing off an easy reunion!XP

My thoughts on that confrontation, it's possible that that is the real Naruto, but to me it's more likely to be a clone. Itachi... may also be a clone. He seems to have been drawn to that place because of the bird.

Anyway, it seems like shinobi who use Kage Bunshin are so much stronger than those who don't. Itachi uses them. Kakashi, Naruto, Sandaime Hokage, Konohamaru... Anyway, their power usually turns out to be greater than others.

Great chapter, I was going to say that this battle would be minuscule because Sasuke was seriously wounded but he absorbed Orochimaru's healing powers so its all up in the air now who knows whats going to go down.

Yeah, it's hectic again. Everyone splits up once more, and they all have cloaks on as well. No telling who'll end up facing who. I still say that Sai is secretly trailing Team Hebi though. I can't think of any other place that he would be at.

Damn right, lol. I do not think that is the "real" Itachi though. As ffl stated the bird seems to have led one of Naruto's kage bunshins to that specific area. Also, how often do we see Itachi without Kisame beside him. Furthermore, Sasuke said him self to his team mates that Akatsuki usually travel in packs of two.

What really intrigued me this chapter was Sasuke (I know big surprise). Exactly how much of Orochimaru's abilities did he absorb? What all is he capable of? I suppose if he has his Sharingan abilities plus Orochimaru's abilities then he stands some chance of defeating his brother. Cheater.

Kisame might be nearby or its just a clone. But Sasuke's strenght is just stupid now, first he is in bed from almost getting killed and then his up as soon as Karin kicks the door in. He might as well take out the remaining Ak members before his brother. Someone should have gave him a cloak with some clouds on it. Hope Itachi beats him down good this time.

It would be great to see all the places you can carry the story from there. Would Sasuke want revenge on Naruto? Will Sakura hate him for it?

I think some people wanna see Itachi as a "good" guy by trying to come up with reasons why he killed his clan or theories that he didnt to make him be able to not reach the average lifespan of an akatsuki

I think any exposure of Itachi on both anime and manga is what a lot of fans want. Itachi is such an interesting character. He reminds me a bit of Shinomori Aoshi from the Kenshin series. Though they are not the same in terms of character, I think both suffers from that coolness factor that fans wanted from a badass character.

The reason I like Itachi the most is because of his character. He reminds me a lot of Sesshomaru from Inuyasha. That whole "superiority" complex intrigues me. They act elite because they are 1337.

However, after reading this chapter I'm starting to get annoyed by her. The problem I have with her is that she isn't "real" per say. What I mean by that is it's like she's some nerdy male otaku trapped in a womens body. Seriously, what kind if girl in real life wants to rape a boy in his sleep and or weakened state? It's usually the other way around. Anyone else feel me on this manner?

I knew someone would get me on that if I wasn't specific enough. I'm calling her out based upon what's expected out of a female character from a shonen manga/anime series. If Naruto were a hentai then I wouldn't say nothing.

There is only so many ways in which a character can be drawn, personally in anime/manga i dont really mind the minor details.. but more the character.

I think i recall not going 100% by the story early on in the first few eps on there first mission with the bounty hunter from the hidden mist with the chick they said was a guy. ( I just changed the story in my head to keep her a girl :P ).
