How do I wrap a katana handle? I got the ribbon and all that, but I am not sure how to go about wrappin git properly.

This isnt anythign spectacular, so if there is somethign simpler....

That's the one I use.

Don't worry about the paper wedges; just use a thing of super glue. Put a dab of it at the "ha" and "mune" curves of the hilt as well as right where the "ito" (cloth wrap) is about to make a fold. It's not really that difficult, just be careful and take your time.

Well, it was just a cheap plastic katana I got for a friend who is putting together a quick costume.
If I had more time I would of had her get a proper one. =/
Damn thing was supposed to come braided too

...im just curious... i really need to make a plastic katana... any clues on how? and i dont mean toyish, cheapish- looking katana... i need it to look like the real thing.
