Mentioned in The Wheel of Time thread I thought it's a great enough series to deserve it's own thread.

I'm still in awe that the first 100 or so pages was Simon just exploring his castle and doing chores but I was still kept interested.

My only real complaint is that stupid wheel would have killed him, starvation or no. It was a great series and I loved the way it resolved which completely threw me off.

This is possibly my favorite fantasy series of all time.

I'm almost done with it 0.0. About 3/4ths of the way through the final book. But yeah, that first book sure was slow...

Finished it, the ending was excellent, although a bit on the anticlimactic side. I would recommend this series to anyone interested in fantasy worlds.

I'd second the rec. It's a little different, as each fantasy series can be, but I enjoyed it and would pass it on.
