Yeah, we already have a figurine thread out there, but its primarily devoted to figurines of anime characters. Anyone collect Super Robot figurines here? I'm referring to stuff outside of Gunpla, like Revoltech, Brave Gokin, or Soul of Chogokin. I am particularly fond of the SoC figures, especially my Ideon and Gunbuster figures. So like I was saying, any other mecha collectors out there?

^ Awesome Revoltech figs you have there, I'm still looking for Mazinkaiser. I've got a few myself, Megatron, King Gainer and Gaiking.

Yeah, I have Gaiking, Giant Robo, and Megatron. I think I have pics of Megatron, but no Gaiking or Giant Robo.

I saw the EVA F-Type. I wasn't too pleased with the sculpt. Some parts just looked too bland and didn't have the great paint job the EVA-01 had.

I, and I know Sendo does too, collect the Gundam Fix Figurations. I think he has like ALL of them as well as a couple of multiples. Mine are:
Gundam Mk II Titan's ver. - I actaully leave this as the Barzam, looks way more intresting
Hyaku-Shiki - in FA mode
ZZ Gundam - Also in FA mode + Hyper Mega Particle Cannon
Gouf Custom - As is
Desert Zaku II (Zaku II F2) - ditto
Kampfaer - ditto

I'm actually thinking of getting 2 more D.Zaku's to have a sorta mini platoon. That thing is beautiful. My favorite may actaully be the Gouf Custom though, I just love all the **** it's carrying on one arm haha.

The only other pure mecha fig I have is the RNA side Temjin. It's pretty freakin awesome, but the large cannon it came with broke =(

Barely related, but I own the incredibly nice Guyver action figure by Max Factory, and a mediocre Bandai version of Buster Machine No.7 Nono.

Pics later, camera's batteries charging.

I'm actually trying to get into buying some decent figures, and for a long time have wanted the Revoltechs for some of the Evas (01, 02, 03, and 05 -- they did make one for the harpies, right?), as well as a few others.

Sendo, how posable (sp?) is that Griffon figure? I was looking at it when it was featured on AN, but never ended up buying it. And can anyone PM me a nice place to buy GFFs, too?

And can anyone PM me a nice place to buy GFFs, too?

No one place is going to reliable for GFF's. It's incredibly rare for a site to have the whole selection and with some thorough looking you can find good prices eventually. Really, google works perfectly fine for it. Just use both google and froogle, I find my stuff at many different sites OR I get them at cons so I can have a chance to inspect the boxes on an individual bases as well as haggle prices down as much as possible.

Only Revoltechs I want are the Patlabor stuff, the Overman King Gainer one, and the Giant Robo stuff. Still, I can't bring myself to actually buy one for some reason. They're just so small. Plus when I compare the posability and detail to like, the Max Factory Guyver line it makes me hesitate even more. I'd much rather get one of those Guyver figs that also have great posability and the bonus of looking incredibly nice.

The Griffon is pretty poseable. I'd compare it to the EVAs in that category since they kinda have the same scheme going on at the leg area. But all around, still a great Revoltech with a damn good paint job.

Also, to help out with the GFF stuff:

You're probably gonna have a hard time finding these since they have low production runs. eBay is probably your best bet at this point in time if you're looking for stuff like the Nu-Gundam and the Gundam MkII. Stuff like that is hella hard to find.

And yeah, I do own all of them. They're just too good. Except for the Zeta Gundam. That one came out kind of crappy.

I don't have any room to stand these up anywhere, but I have a few boxes of little mecha figures around.

Here's one (http://www.tenshi.org.uk/images/100_0857.JPG) (there's some non-mecha in there too), the other one has all the robots in bits, wrapped in paper, they were just the classic Go Nagai figures, about 7cm tall each. I keep some on top of my monitors at work (http://www.tenshi.org.uk/images/work_desk.jpg), too. ^_^

...yeah, I need to rearrange stuff...

Daitetsujin 17 figure FTW,

There's one but it's kinda small and the posability isn't anything amazing. Checkout HLJ

Does anyone know when Wave Corp. is supposed to release the 1:100 scale Monster MKII from SDF Macross?

Hobby Japan has a few pages on new releases, but nothing on a proposed date. All of the pictures are of an unpainted prototype.
