I just finished reading it. I Actually thought it was pretty interesting. Of course, I found the otaku's story to be the most entertaining, but I actually thought that the depictions of the breakdowns (or lack thereof) were well done. I also enjoyed how the author's bio on the jacket treats it as if it were real. He really does seem to stay in character pretty well.

Anyone else read this?
Any thought?

It's next on my list. I'm a HUGE fan of zombie stuff, so I've been wanting to pick this up for awhile.

I like the Yonkers story, and the one with the handicapped girl.

Read it and the Survival Guide. I'm crazy about Zombies... But I just don't find him all too great.

I actually picked up Brian Keene's The Rising instead. Loving it so far. About 1/2 way through it.

dawg, it was freakin sick when the guy was in china, and the boy went berserk and ripped his own arm off to get to the guy.!!.

I was just thinking,...

Was patient zero infected by that missing severed head from the first book? It would be awesome if that were it.

Also, did you know they´re making a movie for this book?

That's a killer book. I love the battle of Yonkers. I would love that movie. My favourite parts have to do with India because the volume of people makes it so much scarier.

Brian Keene is an awesome author. I like his take on the zombie franchise. Here's a link to some stuff about his books, you gotta scroll down some for it.

I am still reading it. The Female pilots story was interesting, and the otakus story along with the blind guys story were cool too.
I would of loved to hear more of Kondo (the otakus) story
