On the other hand, however, neither seems to have language, and the catgirl wags her tail... I'm going to rewrite the comment to "(catgirl and bunnygirl—costumes, but functionally furry)".

The way I always figured it was they were trained not to speak and may have forgotten how. I don't know why her tail moves, that one's tail moved in Story of Little Monica even though she is fully human too. It's just one of those things I guess.
