For those interested in the goa or psy trance (i'm hoping there are some)...
Prometheus - Corridor of Mirrors is some smooth layered psy trance...best new material out there in my opinion.
As for goa...well not much out there except for Twist Dreams [Suntrip Records] and Pure Planet 2 [Kagdila Records]. Both are top notch
Whats everyone listening to?

Not exactly psyTRANCE but -
Shpongle and Anthony Manning!
I've had a group called White Noise recommended to me, but I haven't looked them up yet.
As for goa I can only think of individual tracks from folk rather than complete albums. I've seen a goa compilation CD so it might be worth seeking that out if you're interested.
I've had a chat with raja of spongle offline while he was in london, he's darn smart - he hasn't been online much at the dna hyperdimensional forums for the last few months tho'.
Have you seen Zodiac: wheels inside wheels? 13 psytranceish songs blended together with a neat movie of the revolving heavens, you're taken through each constellation with a host of images for each set of stars. Recommend that for anyone.

Meh, i'm more of the Anthem Trance, or Happyhardcore person.
But I do like some Psytrance/Goa like, Infected Mushrooms, or Aphex Twin.

oh ****, I love Goa, I know nothing about it, but whenver I've heard it I've liked it. So fa Alien Project and Juno Reactor are probably the only ones I can always recognize and like. I just wish I knew where to get the music, stuff is SO hard to find. PM some help please?

Nice, thanks for that. Can you give me any recommendations? I have no idea where to start outside of what's been mentioned in this thread.

well, if you like more of the goa style, then some new producers doing it are: Goasia, Lost Buddha, Khetzal, Afghin, Sneila, Filteria
while some of the older producers are/were: Hallucinogen, chi-a.d., man with no name, doof, asia 2001, space tribe, electric universe
If you prefer dark psy then some good produers are: Blisargon Demogorgon, Wizack Twizack, Double R.E.L., Entropy, Neuromotor, The Nommos

1200 Micrograms
There's a album on this computer downloaded yonks ago made by them, it's their promo stuff released for free online. I don't know where you can get it now but I still have some of the songs, if anyone be interested then drop me a pm and I'll send you some of them. Most of the songs aren't great, but there's a a couple of decent ones, the shiva/hashish one comes to mind...
Keep seeing juno reactor everywhere recently, I've never heard their music - any good?
Would something like Pharoah Sanders count as psy music, 'cause I sure as hell don't know how else to classify it - egyptian music with a shroomy feel - wobbly.

I find Juno Reactor overrated, most of their material is washed up from previous stuff.

That's the one! Funny, it says 'promo' on my version - I thought it was unreleased songs or something, but the song titles are exactly the same.
Hashish has got to be my favourite, lsd is good for the floyd chopper and hydraulic sounds. Might go back and listen to it now, can't remember what half of them sound like... I think dmt has a quote from terrence mckenna throw in iirc, or is that another track, i dunno.
Edit: I meant pharaoh sanders not pharoah sanders in the previous post... not the jazz fella.

Not me. I'm more of a Tech/Deep House kinda guy.
But I respect you guys for listening to dance music nonetheless!
