What do you guys think? Because I'd love to see a second one though.
But won't they just be cashing in like with ff10-2?

I'm leaning towards fake, as I haven't heard any other news but I don't go on those types of sites anyway.

true, I think x-2 failed on story but was more for fun really. I couldn't see ff8-2 being just for fun, I think it would have to be a serious story, and when you think about it and how the story went then how it ended it could be. I mean that gal-...army is still around and they're still SeeDs. So yeah..

It can't honestly be as bad as FFX-2, not even Square is capable of making a game worse than X-2.

If this weren't fake it'd be all over every gaming site, so that's a given.
Still, outside of the level system I actually liked 8 a fair deal, but I don't want another fan-service sequel with no real content.

okay, so it might never get made. But I would even read a manga for it if it ever came out.
x-2 had a good battle system, it was fast paced and fun to mess about with, plus I don't have to mention all the sexy costumes and the way they change into them....................Oh, I just did.

Really though, I want the game just out of fan service, Squall ten years older, no longer emo, longer hair, cooler jacket.....! stop it! just stop it now! Selphie, with a sexier outfit if possible, Zell no longer a crap fighter.....DAMMNNIT!!

Looking at the text on the first picture, I SWORE it was fake. Looks like the FF font with a simple 1.5 pixel stroke. I don't think its real. Thats just personal opinion though, Sony, feel free to prove me wrong.

The CG girl looks so sketchy too. The feet are pixelated near the edges. Plus, the Japanese text at the top. Too clean for a scan from a book. I mean, there should be some kind of glare or something, if theres one on the left side.

Not only would any gaming website and magazine would have reported it but as a FF fan you can tell thats not an Nomura design or a Amano logo.

X-2 was better than X in gameplay. In story....? Both were garbage.

To be honest, in terms on FMP, it was the Fumoffu season that got me into FMP. So in your theory, X2 would have been the one that had nothing to do with FMP and that it would get nowhere near the amount of hate it gets. Actually, I really cannot say comparing it to FMP?F is the best idea.
