Good chapter, Sasuke ended up using Chidori inside his own body to defuse the bombs flowing through his blood stream.

I am very pleased with this fight, it breaks away from the OMG SASUKE OWNS ANYONE ANYTHING ANYWHERE type of notion. It proves that even he has a rough time against Akatsuki members and that they are no push overs even against the Sharingan.

Next chapter "the final explosion" = most likely Diedera's end.

Yep. Good chapter. It was surprising to me since he used a route different from what I was expecting, and it still used elements that had been set up earlier in the fight.

Very cool chapter. Its just kind of sad to me how ridiculously powerful the Sharingan is.

I also found it interesting that Sasuke corrected Deidara and told him it wasn't "raikiri" but "chidori." Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but to me that shows respect towards Kakashi. Saying that only Kakashi has raikiri, while I use chidori. I dunno...something to think about...

And Deidara is so dead. I would love to see Tobi get involved...I mean where did he go? But then again I'm sure Deidara would get mad at him blah blah.

i just saw it as a confirmation of my belief that Sasuke isnt really evil, just a little insane. He never really had a problem with Kakashi, Sakura, or Naruto. He just wanted to use Naruto as a gauge of his own strength. It always frustrated him, after working so hard, why Naruto, a goofball, was so strong. Heck, now that he knows of Kyuubi, he might go a little easier on Naruto.

Aside from that, he never hated any of them. Just didnt want them to stand in his way of revenge against Itachi.

Yeah, I found that part to be interesting as well, and I also had the same thought that Sasuke doesn't want his to be called Raikiri since that's Kakashi's jutsu. It did seem like Sasuke still respects Kakashi. It'll be interesting to see their reunion, that's for sure.

I loved the fact that Sasuke showed that it's not about having the Sharingan, but HOW you use it. This chapter (IMHO) cleared the whole "Sharingan can do anything and everything". With relatively simple tactics, and Sharingan properties one might consider "basic" (like perception of chakra, hand signs, and genjutsu), Sasuke was able to very cleverly overcome Deidara's plans. All in all, Sasuke nuthuggin' has been increased 150%.

The whole looking into your arm was more of a Byakugan ability than Sharingan. But look like Deidara will have no other choice but to try and blow himself up. Or maybe he will step on one of his mines, be ironic and funny.

Perhaps, but as far as variety/utilization goes, the Sharigan really can do anything and everything, or so it continually is shown to be.

Kishi: Sasuke has to win this battle, but his foe is just too far away. The accuracy involved and distance won't work, plus his foe is pretty quick. *sigh* Oh my gosh! I've got it! Genius, GENIUS! The Sharingan can now shoot light speed lasers from it, oh, and it can control gravity! Wait, no, I can't do that... Unless I add on that the Sharingan can also instantly create delicious pastries with but a thought!

Hmm, is it just me, or did that seem like Deidara was stalling for time? Maybe its just the way its written so that we get to know what happened in detail, but something tells me he was buying some time, either to give Tobi time to do whatever, or just keep himself alive longer. Then again, it could just be me, hoping for Tobi to do something good.

I thought he was just mad at the world, tormented by life and all that **** but now I think he actually lost it.

I mean the guy hasn't spoken a word to sakura trough the whole anime (besides 'hn', 'Aa', 'You're annoying', or just 'annoying') and there he goes talking with deidara 'bout his every move. yo, dude, he doesn't care. How proud of his bloodline can he get. He talked more now than trough the whole series. Baaka.

And th whole last image thing-y... jah... creepy. (in a shino way)

and if you ask me; sticking a sword in the ground for checking if there're boombs is okay... no need to go trough some...whatever that was and telling us it was all a big plan by a mastermind. I find these kind of chapters even more boring than when they are just regrouping or whatever... :S

Why did you double post? You used the edit button on you 1st post why didn't you use it again it doesn't move.

Well where is Tobi at? The last time we saw him he was running away from the Giant Deidara bomb. Venom is right, it seems that Kishi is making the Sharingan the best thing ever and nothing can stop it. Next week there will be an ad about how the Sharingan can slice a tomato. I hope at the end of series that Sasuke does get his @ss and his stupid pride handed to him by Naruto only using his own strenght not Kyuubi or a curse seal.

Sasuke does have some skills but without the help of that curse seal he wouldn't get anywhere close to killing his brother. He has hard enough time with Deidara who was beaten by Itachi.

Sasuke explaining himself did seem out of character. Guess that's why there's always a third party in the scene. Kishi feels the need to throw in explanations for everything, and when there's not one there, a person has to open their mouth.

Those are the best parts of the fights. The actions are given reason rather than just being left for viewer interpretation. I don't consider it out of character for Sasuke though. This is just his first time going into an explanatory dialogue. It's also to show that his analytical skill is nothing to be scoffed at, even if it doesn't entirely match up to Shikamaru's.

Interesting fight although I would be disappointed if Deidara and Tobi didn't have something else up their sleeves. Detonating clay bombs here and there, big deal. Where is the curveball?

Lol the Sharingan gets ever stronger...poor Shino. That said the Sharingan has always been sold as an incredibly powered/overpowered tool. Hell why do you think Oro wanted it so bad, even Jirayai said its not fun training someone that can do that, its more fun training a "loser". Lol Poor Sasuke though, even with his uber-sharingan hes at the edge as well, Itachi friggen pwned Deidara without even moving...ahhh Itachi.
