I like the new closing. It was pretty neat watching the Naruto cast in a high school setting, even if it was for only a minute or two. I've thought about the combination before, but with this... maybe they'll consider making a few Naruto high school OVAs in the near future.:) I'd enjoy watching those since we're already familiar with the characters, and it would be fun to see how they're written for the high school setting. Naruto's outfit was nice though. Very Hokage-ish.

Oh yeah, and the episode... it was good.

I'm surprised they managed to put nothing of visual value into that episode. An entire 20 minutes of delay, just what I've always wanted to see. On a side note, the next episode might be decent.

Well we know what SJ series is better than both of them. It doesn't start with a B or an N. We can save that discussion for another time.

Any predictions on how long a show of this caliber(filler,pointless) can go on? It seems like every week I come to read peoples thoughts on the latest episodes it seems to get worse and worse. It seems to me people are either A) reading the manga or B) watching Naruto just because It's Naruto. I'm not bashing Naruto or Bleach but to see a SJ series crash and burn like this is just very odd. However, Inuyasha was pretty much pointless all the way to it's last episode.

This episode was alright, gives me enough to complain about, not enough to drop it.

Liked the new ending too.

Hopefully the major battles wont be dragged then it'll pick right back up.

I'll just say I'm happy Claymore is locked in at 26 episodes and is going through 3 chapters per ep. Especially after seeing the latest eps of N & B.

I really liked this episode it was really good to watch. The ending theme was awesome to and I thought it was amusing how Naruto was the sensei of his class (with the rest of the rookie nine being his students xD) The after credits was funny as well when Lee got Neji on his shoulders, it was all very good. :)

Naruto wasn't the sensei. Kakashi was. Naruto was the new student that was introducing himself to the class.

Just finished the ep. I liked it a lot. We got to see Team Gai in action, which is always a plus, and it set up the 'big' fights nicely. The Satori fight was long even for the manga, so I expect it to be a big one here too.

And I loved the ending. The manga style was cool, but I would love to have seen in animated. Who knows, maybe an OVA or Jump Festa one day?

Maybe i'm just getting to hard to please, but they are really stretching out these eps (Taking 5mins just to switch slides between the radio convo's with the clones etc.)

We were on fillers for afew years, honestly if we dont have enough material now it means they are not putting enough in the manga!

Exploring Gai's fight showed that it was a serious fight for them, and they really couldnt just ignore it and go back to help Naruto & Co. Otherwise, the good guys may have had an easier time with Dei & Sasori.

So what will be the ratio of standing around and staring or talking to actual fighting in the next episode? This episode seemed to be at least three times as much talking as fighting

The next one... seems like it'll be action. I don't remember much of the dialogue from the manga during this part though. If it follows suit with previous episodes though, there'll be plenty of dialogue with well-placed instances of action. I'm not certain where they'll end on it though...
