Yeah, not everyone gets flashbacks, and even then, it doesn't always mean death. In Deidara's case though, with the way the battle has been built up, that's just the end that I see for Deidara. There's really no point in keeping him alive either, since they would have to fight him again. Also, he's pulling out his strongest chakra, so it should be over for him once his attack fails.

For his final attack i see Diedara making himself into a giant bomb hoping that he might take Sasuke out with it. Back when he escaped from Naruto and co he had a clone do it but this time i think it might be him.

This chapter increased my appreciation of Dei by 400%. Too bad he´s going to die.

Why else would they have shown his back story if they wern't going to kill him off, thats the way things usually go in most manga that I've read so far. You get to find out a lot about someone and then watch them die, it's really nice.

If a good guy uses "that jutsu", well, the bad guy's gonna die. If a bad guy uses "that jutsu", well, the bad guy's gonna die. Not that it doesn't make any sense, there's nothing more to see if the bad guy uses it. But man, do they ever get the shaft in this manga.

So what happens once Deidara pops his life cherry? Tobi vs Sasuke or will it shift back to the whole naruto gangs vs random peoples.

Knowing Tobi he'll scream something about sempai's death (yet again) and run away, though this would be the perfect opportunity to finally tell us something about Tobi... if this segment ends without us learning anything about him, we probably never will.

I was hoping that after Dei's demise, Kakashi and Pakkun would be the team that shows up on the scene to join Sasuke and Tobi. Sasuke may escape, or stay, but then Kakashi and Tobi would have a few words, and we would maybe get some answers.

In any case, I cant wait to see how it turns out.

Well from Kakashi's track record I'd say he is atleast aware of this fight going on, if not of who it is thats fighting. Hasn't anyone else noticed that they've shown Sakura, Naruto, Hinata, Yamato, & Sai...but no Kakashi? oh yeah this is all building up to Deidara's eventual death (*snicker* Itachi owned deidara) and Kakashi atleast meeting Tobi. If I'm wrong may I be struck by Lightning *looks to the cloudy skies*...and live!
