I really want to cosplay sometime soon, but I'm terrible with designs... could anyone help me out with how to get the costume going? (so hard to find a good cariety of pictures, sorry...)

double stick tape looks like it will be a necessity

...ok, what'syou body type? you don't wanna SQUEEZE into something that tight and have the thing disintegrate before your very eyes.

do you know how to wokr with pliable plastics? you'll need some soft plastics and some silver paint to make some of the armor. plus, maybe a bit of leather working will also do wonders.

get the basic parts of the costume first: skirt, top, boots. then work on them.

Skirt looks easy enough. To me, it looks like two rectangular pieces of hot pink cloth for it, haha.
