I just finished downloading it and I'm off to go to work in a minute, so I'll get down to watching it later today and post my thoughts on it then. Anyway, discussion commence!

I actually enjoyed this episode, it was no where near as slow as I thought it was going to be, and there was hardly any stalling (except for Gai's strange verbal sounds!). All in all it was enjoyable.

The 'Akatsuki Conversation' after the ending credits was hysterical too.

The episode was mostly a throw away episode. Sakura used her I can smash rocks better then a man technique, Gai grunted and moaned like he had to take a major dump, and Naruto just kind of stood around twiddling his thumbs.

So let's see how it pans out from here. A epic fighting inc.

Are the fights gonna be like DBZ-caliber stretchfest? Or will it proceed at tolerable speed?

I also didn't like the Gai team fights all that much, but we'll probably see them. At length.

But we'll see...

I thought the face-off between Gai and Neji was quite funny. The little grunts and moans certainly added to that. Hehe, Gai pwns Neji with the power of youth.:P

Just finished watching it. The past few episodes have been making me lose interest, but this episode was much more entertaining then the past few. It seems like things can only move forward now, so the next episode should be interesting. Gai's sense of humor sure cracks me up though! :lol:

i thought it was a good episode i was hoping it wouldn't take them all episode to break in akatsuki's hideout but it did as i guessed since i remember it took them all last episode to find their hideout. i enjoyed gai sensi's humor and the bit at the end where kisame is bothered about his appearance wasent expecting that lol XD. and the micro phone bit where lee had it turned up to loud kakashi's face was hilarious.:lol:

I really dont have much to complain about this episode. yea there werent much action but thats ok with me..

BTW, is there a soundtrack coming out soon? Im really loving the music of Shipuuden

Abit convenient the seals were paper & in the open..Totally. This could've been their chance to make a filler arc just on finding those seals.

I found the episode kinda useless. The comic relief was pretty good, but absolutely nothing important happened. They break in and find Gaara dead, yet they spend the half of the episode, DISCUSSING the break-in. Come on.

Kinda like watching the huddle before a play in football, with the episode ending when the ball is hiked. That's shonen for ya.

The episodes imho are getting better and better. The music's really cool, the drama of it all is just great. But that storyline of Naruto comparing himself to Gaara of "I'm just like you" does aggrevate me a bit. It wouldn't have been so bad if the filler writers wouldn't have over-used it which they had done and ruined the whole scenario. What done is done now and I shall await to see what happens in the next episode. Looks as though Naruto's eyes turned into the Kyuubi's.
