I was looking at some YouTube comments when someone named DonHectorix wrote this comment. What is this language in?
NOTE: If you want to find out where the quote is from, it was from this link.

My (poorly) educated guess would be Finnish, Swedish... something nordic.

^ Yeah, but which one? I haven't been able to nail it down, hence my edit to add "(poorly)" to my earlier post. -_-; I can't read it myself, and it doesn't look quite like any of the languages with which I'm familiar.

Polendish.
No rly, it's not Finnish because there is no Z in the Finnish alphabet 8D
ALZO, I do believe that it is either Danish or just jibberish made up to look Nordic.

This language guesser says Dutch. (http://www.xrce.xerox.com/competencies/content-analysis/tools/guesser) As does this one. (http://www.appliedlanguage.com/language_identifier.shtml)
Just copy and paste in that line and hit "Guess Language".

definitely looks like Dutch to me, but I'm still not sure. Could it be Flemish? I don't know what Flemish looks like

I can't find a language translator that can touch it effectively. I've tried Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Danish and a few others. It doesn't appear to be German, but it appears to be a northern Germanic derivative. Some of the words are recognizable in a few nordic languages, but I can't place enough of it to make sense of it. It doesn't appear Icelandic, and if it's Russian, it's no variant I recognize immediately.
I'm leaning toward gibberish or Marklar at this point.
Looks like Welsh to me.
It's most definitely not Welsh.
Note: Do we have any native speakers of these languages on AN that can rule them out?

It may be a romanisation of russian or similar language which uses different letters to english - which would be why none of the online translators can touch it. I learnt some russian but I haven't seen any of the words before, except ales, which is french.
It could be a super secret unbreakable encoded message!

Yeah, I assumed as much from the lack of accented letters. I even tried taking that into account with several languages which looked promising, but I'm still coming up blank.

The text obviously isn't French, but "ales" appears in several Germanic languages, I believe.
We have several people stating that it's Dutch. If so, that's great. What's the approximate translation?

Made mention of ales as it was the only word I recognised out of the whole lot - wasn't implying it was french of all things to make that clear!
My parents know much more russian than me seeing as me dad worked over there for a bit before I was born, so if you haven't figured it out I'll ask one of them sometime tommorrow to look over it.

Yeah, I'd go with that.
If you copy & paste the individual words into google, the same video comment comes up. This leads me to believe it's:
* A person who doesn't know how to romanise their own language
* A person who is making up a language
* A person who is writing in a super secret code.
If you look at the profile of the person who wrote the comment:
http://www.youtube.com/user/DonHectorix
You'll see he says he's in the US and his main language appears to be Spanish, I think... MrKoreanGuy is a subscriber, so I expect he's already been there, had a look round, and has possibly set up this thread to send us on a wild goose chase.

It's a mixture of Basque, Korean, Spanish, and made-up conjugations. By DonHectorix.
It's Hectorian. The language is Hectorian. Hectoria is located in the Atlantic Ocean and its inhabitants reach around 6,000,000. DonHectorix is one of these 6 million inhabitatns of Hectoria.

Not really on topic, but Being one not really liking the English music much anymore, I will say, Rob Zombie is still awesome. Don't know what it is, but that guy has yet to lose credit on me like Linkin Park, Green Day, and most other singers/bands have.
As for my take on the language, it makes me think Russian, but I might be wrong. I have Rammstein's "Mutter" (Mother) song in my head looking at some of the words, so my first thought is Russian.
Mutter's Lyrics:
"Mutter
Mutter
Ich durfte keine Nippel lecken
und keine Falte zum Verstecken
niemand gab mir einen Namen
gezeugt in Hast und ohne Samen
Der Mutter die mich nie geboren
hab ich heute Nacht geschworen
ich werd ihr eine Krankheit schenken
und sie danach im Fluss versenken
Mutter
In ihren Lungen wohnt ein Aal
auf meiner Stirn ein Muttermal
entferne es mit Messers Kuss
auch wenn ich daran sterben muss
Mutter
In ihren Lungen wohnt ein Aal
auf meiner Stirn ein Muttermal
entferne es mit Messers Kuss
auch wenn ich verbluten muss
Mutter
oh gib mir Kraft"
"jiel arrekar imanol chim sul gar frentkquer ales valkre, sule jiel chimolsuk thrinken balyjjiers. frinkstch szoorf ilmagonji areal gar subut ales."
To me at least, it sounds/looks like it may be.

BESIDES, Russian looks more like this BOXBOXLINEBOXCRYLLICSYMBOL, COMRADE
It definitely does not look Dutch to me...Most likely it's either Swedish/Danish or some cryllic language made...not cryllic. 8D

^ I once described a Welsh place name as "20 consonants and a 'Y', and it doesn't appear to matter where that 'Y' is." Welsh is a fine language for the ears (to me, anyway), but it's murder on the eyes.

As someone who's not a native, but has done Russian, I can say that's definitely not Russian. And it looks far too alien to be dutch or swedish. Or Finnish, for that matter, really. I'm going with gibberish, atm...
EDIT: Could it be some kind of Walloon dialect, or something? Or a German-influenced African language?

Well, all of Rammstein's members are from eastern Germany, which was like a part of Russia
You know, I thought so, but a friend told me oherwise. Thank you.
You're friend is an idiot, plain and simple. Russian and German don't even sound similar (to me, anyway, being a German speaker and having a close friend from the former USSR) although Wiki says they're part of the same language family (Indo-European).
