The Phillies actually have a real squad with good clutch hitting. I predict that Philly will play the Brewers in the NLCS. Winner goes to the World Series, loser explodes and moves it's franchise to Canada.

From the American League: I go with my Yankees. They're playing some dominant ball now and Boston's offense is just dying out. The gap WILL be closed in July. Especially with our pitching rotation getting a lot better.

Yeah, no. Most of our wins in April CAME from the Rangers. So yeah, step your game up. Even when A-Rod was on the team, they still couldn't beat the Yankees. The Rangers, right now, are still recuperating from the A-Rod signing. You guys aren't gonna have a formidable team until 2012.

And for some reason, I'm taking the A's over the Angels in the West. The A's are boasting a 2.99 ERA in that rotation. I know one of their pitchers has like, a 1.78 ERA. And that's beastly.

The Yankees are going on a rest of the season losing streak after this month I am tired of seeing them in the playoffs every year.

You're gonna be disappointed. Even so, they're most likely make it in the playoffs and really shine then since they're more a playoff team. Plus, they're trying hard since this is a do-or-die for Torre after those godawful collapses in the last two seasons. Hell, if it wasn't for the fans and the team asking the Boss to give Torre one last chance, Torre wouldn't be the coach this season considering the Boss usually fire anyone outright despite Torre bringing the team into a somewhat properous era.

I'm not too worried about the 8 game gap between the Yankees and the Bosox, it's still relatively early in the season and if the Yankees keep on playing like they're now, I would see that gap closing over time, remember at mid-May, they were 4th place in the AL East Division and 12.5 game behind Bosox, now they're 2nd with 8 games behind as of eariler today.

One of the main reasons I want to win it this year is to keep Torre.

With Manny and Ortiz's bats pushing mediocre numbers right now, the Yankees will take this division easily. The script follows last years. And we weren't even this close last season. We didn't take the division until late August. So yeah, your Tigers suck. You probably won't get the Wild Card, so good luck chasing Minnesota for the Central. You're gonna need it.
