I have watched Tootsie only partially on a cable channel and have liked it a lot.
Dustin Hoffman's comical performance sure has made me laugh.
"I'll never forget Michael Dorsey's buddy's line "You ****" or something like that when he saw Michael being sexually harassed as Dorothy Michaels by another man.
Have you watched Tootsie? Are there any other cross-dressing movies you have liked?
I vaguely remember watching another cross-dressing movie about a middle school boy disguised as a girl playing for a girls' soccer team. The title was Ladybugs but that was many years ago so I forgot most of what I saw in the movie.

I loved Victor/Victoria. Julie Andrews is hot in a tux. She's the Man was kind of cute and funny. Ma Vie en Rose is very good, but I have to be in the right mood to watch it.
To Wong Foo... I don't know. I did think it was very good... like tranny for the sake of tranny instead of tranny for the sake of plot.

The Birdcage is a personal favorite, though I like many of the more classic examples as well.

Oh, clear forgot the top of the list, Rocky Horror! Don't know how I could have forgotten the best crossdress movie/musical of all time. I'm also a wee bit surprised it wasn't mentioned yet.
I'm just a sweet Transvestite from Transexual, Transalvania.

If he wasn't what? I know what you are getting at, but Honestly, it doesn't make too much sense after reading His and your posts.

The Spice Girls are cross dressers?
... Yeah, now that I think about them, the red head and the brunette have decidedly strong jaws.

That would be my pick, too! I can't believe others didn't remember the great Tim Curry in drag.
